Best Italian Knife under $100

There's probably 100 people that are lined up to buy this knife, myself included. Whoever orders for Grindworx & Blade HQ waits until they're out of stock, to order more. It's very frustrating to see reviews & not be able to buy them. You're constantly out of stock for Italian stilletos.

But elsewhere they would have it in stock. What is the point of advertising a great price on a knife that is not in stock ? I went to the website, that knife is out of stock and there are literally 20-30 pages of knives that are all out of stock. I go to other switchblade websites that don't list things they don't have. The prices may be higher but you can actually buy the item you want.

Here in Italy and around Italy a stiletto that size would be around 70 euros, what's 75-80 USD? Cause handle's wood looks a cheap type, of course same size made in ebony or Buffalo horn costs more, but not as much, around 80 Euros, guess 90 USD

The 11" Frank Beltrame are around $150 depending on features as of May 2021. The 9" around $125. I just scored a Frank Beltrame 9" Buffalo Horn Bayonet Blade 2.0 with the new laser cut parts, and 4mm stainless steel blade (a lot are 3.5mm) for $132 shipped. A little pricey, yes, but they only had 5 left, and everything is going up in price nowadays. Keep looking, bargains are out there.

What's up with the wood handle at the bolsters? It looks like it's unfinished because the wood doesn't come up even with the bolsters like most knives, it sits up way too high and the edges of the wood look too sharp edged. It just doesn't look right.

That's typical for Italian styled knives, and poses no discomfort at all. I'm not clear on the reasons, but I haven't handled any authentically styled stiletto that wasn't that way. -Holly

SKM springs tend to break on me from my experience. Frank B's are better, but the opposite problem: The spring is so strong that knife will get more and more peak until it won't close at all. The only perfect Italian stilettos are AGA Campolins, I've yet to see one have a failure.

I found this knife at my mall for $100. (Pink Cadillac) its illegal to carry around in the U.S but you can have it at your house for a letter opener.

You can carry any knife you wish in most of the southern states.In NYC you can't even carry a knife with a locking blade.It might pay to look up the knife laws when traveling.

I very recently bought a Frank Beltrame from this supplier and am happy with it. It is one of the big ones and, in my opinion, has beautiful workmanship. They are pricey. I am old enough that I remember when the switchblade was outlawed and pulled from the shelves in 1958. Stupid law. The knife was too stiff for my old fingers but loosened up after oiling a few strategic places. This is just something to have and look at. The Hen and Rooster butterbean works just fine to carry. P.S. I learned that holding the button when closing saves wear on the pin.

Where i am from those are illegal but if you see one with a thumb stud deployment it is legal, gravity knives legal, bowie knives legal, but no knives no matter size is legal to carry.

I bought the AKC from Mid-tech and I love it. I love the blade on it better than this one bc its bayonet style. its sturdy...and doesn't feel cheap at all. got it in cherry wood and....its only $49.99. Also came with a free utility knife that isn't cheap ass either.
