Thank you so much for your video! I got some great ideas from you so I can do my first boxes this year, get my church involved and keep it going each year. I heard no soap this year when I talked to someone representing them over the summer. When she gave me the trifolds, soap was handwritten under what not to pack. Possibly that is not for all regions?? Just thought I'd mention it. Thank you so much for your video and God bless!🙏🤍

Thanks for doing this video so early. I’m hoping to send a couple of boxes this year. Paula

Sometimes I cut down packaging on certain things like matchbox cars so it fits but is still clearly new

I like to make boxes for oldest boys too

That is what I am doing because I noticed of all the boxes received at my drop off location it's 90% female for the younger ages

From what I've heard from recipients. whenever they don't have a box for a said age or gender group they give them one from a younger group or another gender. If there are any packages left they'll give them to one of the poorer families. I put a couple items that'll go across multiple age groups and gender Neutral colored Musical Resin recorder 🪈 all ivory colored just in case. Adjustable workout jump rope (adult) some kids are extremely tall at a young age. Gender neutral colors for for school supplies Ext

Love all these suggestions! I agree about the washcloths! Nicer quality ones are a better buy so they will last longer! I found very nice quality ones this year at a local outlet store and bought as many as I could for $.25 and $.49 each on two different trips there! Nice thick and durable ones like what you showed on here. We skipped the Dollar Tree ones this year!

Are the magnifying glasses permitted? Isnt there a risk of them breaking in transit?

crayons? surely they could melt?
@kutie216Ай бұрын
Crayons have to get very hot to melt
@toriohl4285Ай бұрын
I'm concerned for that, too, as well as glue sticks melting and making a mess.

Good ideas, but finger puppets are definitely for younger kids. Most 10 to 14 yr olds would be bored with those.
