Whose quote is this? I've been on Mercari both buying and selling since like 2018 and have never been scammed or had any problems. 😅 The fact that the buyers funds are on hold and don't get released until the buyer reviews the product is a pretty fail proof system. I'm sure there's ways to get around it. I'm just saying it rarely happens.
