Town of Salem is a browser-based game that challenges players on their ability to convincingly lie as well as detect when other players are lying. The game ranges from 7 to 15 players. These players are randomly divided into alignments - Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists and Neutrals. If you are a Town member (the good guys) you must track down the Mafia and other villains before they kill you. The catch? You don’t know who is a Town member and who is a villain. If you are an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, you secretly murder town members in the veil of night and try to avoid getting caught.

I just realized: L O R E If the Godfather is the leader of the mafia, why would the Godfather agree to be recruited, and or accept being recruited while the rest of the mafia remain mafia? I feel like GF would end up adding the whole mafia to the jackals if such were to happen, no? Do the other maf look at their leader and go: 'Oh, the boss is acting strange, but eh I think it's fine. He's totally not gonna shoot us in the head later! :D' I NEED THE LORE!

@@hajimehinata5854 An idea could be simple: Distrust to his own Mafia. The Godfather's Mafia could have had plans to turn on him and install a new Godfather for the Mafia. I like to think that the Godfather overheard their whispers of them planning to betray him. And so realizing that everything he worked hard to build was crumbling down, He sought out help. And that's when the Jackal came knocking on his door, offering to meet with him in private. The Jackal could make the problems go away, if he agreed to stay quiet and join up with them. He goes along with it, Trusting the plan. In the case of this video, the plan succeeds. Now that the Mafia has been wiped out, The Jackal realizes what a great team they make, and offers to help build a new, stronger Mafia. Or it could just be money. idfk. I'm not good with TOS Lorebuilding.

​@NicoTheCinderace That's great! The Mafioso could be the cause of the Godfather's distrust. The only way for the Mafioso to achieve their goal of leading organized crime is to kill the current leader. If the Godfather overheard them planning a coup within the Mafia, the Godfather would naturally want to find some way to stop it, or if that's not possible, to survive. Then the Jackal comes into the picture and gives the Godfather their path to survival the way you described it. I love lore.

AMAZING game this one - 4 here for the record. Not sure HOW on earth I managed not to notice 5 was Jackal till they outright said, Not sure that its good that I was asked if I was the mafia one but alright - Amazing game still non the less and first ever video on the channel where I appear in. Massive props for the plays here! First time as recruit aswell - I may have had no idea what to do at the start of the game But I adapted and overcame (maybe) Regardless Tuba as jackal was just ridiculous to find out at the end.

I genuinely think Jackal is probably my favorite faction. A lot more fun than Coven, and a lot more sneaky, too. Plus, it's the idea of having Mini Town Traitors or Mafia Traitors that makes it all the more satisfying to pull off a W for. Oh, and of course, for the Algorithm, ANTICS.
