Best Japanese Traditional Ryokan in Kawaguchiko, Mt. Fuji | Konanso 🏔

In this video, we visit the Fuji 5 Lakes Area of Kawaguchiko, and stay at a Japanese Ryokan called the Konansou (湖南荘).
The Fuji Five Lake (富士五湖, Fujigoko) region is located at the northern base of Mount Fuji. The "Five lakes" include Kawaguchiko, Saiko, Yamanakako, Shojiko and Motosuko. This is one of the best places to view Mt. Fuji.
Lake Kawaguchiko is the easiest to access among the 5 lakes. It also offers the most things to see and do. The four other lakes are less developed than Lake Kawaguchiko and are not as easy to access by public transportation.
We stayed at the Konansou, a Japanese Ryokan, which sits on the edge of Lake Kawaguchiko at the base of Mt. Fuji. It has a gorgeous view of Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko. For those who do not feel comfortable getting naked in front of strangers, you can reserve a public bath for yourself and your family/friends. Also, some of the rooms have a private outdoor onsen on the balcony. The facility is operated as “Ryokan”, the Japanese-style hotel, and offers a kaiseki course meal, as well as a breakfast buffet.

Oh sweet a full tour of a Ryokan. :) And now i feel even worse for not being able to get to Japan yet. It's the ol money thing for me lol. I bet you were stoked when you found the UFO catchers at your Ryokan which looked LOVELY!!!! Your dinner sorry but the portions TINY i'd be i'm still hungry need more food hehehe. The girls looked so ADORABLE in their yukatas. Was anyone brave enough to use the outdoor tub? +pixiegrrl69 yesss! I was so happy and surprised to find the arcade !! The dinner portions were tiny but there were so many courses I was stuffed by the end 😂. I used the outdoor tub... just part of the experience! It was so cold but it feels so good to be in the hot hot water 😀.

Hi Gustavo, I costs anywhere between $80-200 depending on the type of room and meal. We used Japonican.com to book. We had breakfast and dinner included in our price. Thanks for watching!

I feel it's so expensive Ryokan, maybe about ¥ 30,000 or $ 300 per one day stay. It has a very panoramic view and good facilities.

It is expensive. But the cost is not so much for the room itself, but for the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast.
