Droid tanks are one of the best things in the game. I've killed so many people with the AAT, even the "dangerous" jet troopers sometimes target only me for revenge after their failed flanking attempts. Clone commando is best against droid tanks. When I see one coming close, I immediately remove artillery mode and seek cover. The only thing you need to make sure is there are friendly players/npcs nearby and places to hide behind when tank health is low or suddenly half the enemy team is pissed at you and organizes a combined arms attack with clone tank, AT-RT, speeder, jet, commando and ion snipers all at once. Really fun.
