Funny how when it was time to demonstrate how it drops and fits in the deploy tube you connected to both lines, the breakaway and the main. Is that because the main cable gets stuck outside the deploy tube when you reel in your anchor? I hope not. 🤔🤔🤔

Nice set up. Love my Jackson BR. But the only thing I seen about the anchor trolley add on is that you would hook it up between the anchor and launch tube, not between launch tube and the hand wench (the spot where your hand was). Its a nice setup for fresh water for sure. But in saltwater, I like the option to unhook my anchor from anchor trolley and drop the line in the water (obviously with a float on the end) to fight the big fish. Once done, paddle or troll back to your float and re-hook. Keep it up, love the videos.

When using the trolley system donyou run the end of the anchor line through the D-ring and connect to anchor? Or is there a different setup like you showed at the end of the video where line through D-ring then through deploy tube to anchor?

Did you try this? I think the anchor line would have to be connected to the trolly system after the deploy tube for it to work. And in that case you’d have to be able to reach back to the deploy tube each time, which isn’t possible on every kayak. At least not on the very rear where I’d like to mount mine. I suppose you could add a short 1-2ft tether fixed to the D-ring with a very small ring on the other end to connect to the anchor line that could fit through the deploy tube? Not sure if that would work without trying it, but on paper it makes sense to me.

@@ThisTall so my work around was to had a clip to the trolley which I then connect the anchor line to once anchor is deployed and I can then use the system had advertised and then unclip from the anchor line an bring in the line with the anchor wizard and pull the anchor up the chute and out of the water

EVERYBODY PLEASE Use 2 zip ties on the breakaway. One as the break point and the other that HOLDS the breaking zip tie onto the anchor / chain links so we don’t end up with thousands and thousands of zip ties being left all over the world by kayakers! The second zip tie keeps the broken one attached to your anchor so that when you retrieve it after breaking away you can then dispose of it properly and not leave it strewn across the ocean floor.
