That's awesome they are so easy to put on.....for as expensive as they are they can be easily stolen to since they are so easy to put on and off......where do u get the lock it doesn't come with it did u buy the lock and where did u get yours....and do u have a video on how to install the lock...cause I want to leave mine on vehicle

I have 2020 4runner and we have had a hell of a time finding crossbars that work once the racks is on. Once the racks and yaks are on, it touches the roof. Any slight bump would dent the roof in transport. We found some cross ara but they are so high it looks terrible. Help.

TIP: The red lock lever he showed was not tight. I got mine for $43 on the return table at REI because someone said the locks failed. Several complained about that but Yakima has stated that the lever locks are like a quick release on a bike spoke. If too lose just twist the red lock in the open position until it gets tighter then check the tension by locking. Just like a quick release. That person simply not looking it up saved me over $150 from REI for 1 time used racks.

Great video. I’m new to these racks. I’d like to transport a stand-up paddle board and a Kayak on my Volvo XC90. If I were to buy two sets of these racks, would both the paddle board and kayak fit?

I dont see why they wouldnt. The paddle board should fit better due to it being flatter.

I bought this product that u have in this video........used it a few times and already having a problem with it.....I use the loading ramp to get the kayak on the rack and by the time I get to the place where I put in the kayaks which is a 20-30 min drive I locked it in to place and they are laying flat by the time I get to my 30 min destination they don't hold my 50 pound kayaks....have u had any problems with this....I got the Malone sea wings and they lay flat and don't have any issues

I have the same model 4runner. I am purchasing an oldtown 120 sportsman pdl (81 pounds). I was told the manufacturer cross bars can't support that much weight. Can you share what size kayaks you are using or if you would attempt the 81 pound kayak on this system?

The stock 4runner cross bar holds 132 lbs. when the weight is distributed evenly. If you look on the rack itself, it should have a sticker

I have a 2020 4 runner TRD off road with factory cross bars. Yakima site says these wont fit on my rack but your rack bars look the same as mine. What year is your 4runner and where there any fit issues? Thanks

I have a 20 4 runner.....have u tried the Malone sea wings with the stinger attachment.... amazing seem like they are better than yours with loading your kayak and assembly.....did u ever look into those

Yes, my apologies I should have shown this. It does have locks, again, very easy to install and remove and comes with 4 keys. (all keyed alike)
