Perfect timing Adam... I’m reviewing BuddyBoss with client tomorrow. Maybe a go for them - maybe Astra... I do like the idea of BB; it looks so shiny and cool. in all honesty it may be a perfect theme for the project witch includes a digital summit, a membership content site, an LMS alongside with podcasts and other broadcasted media. However, I see that you aren't very happy with it, and I can't help thinking that is because you might not have had time enough to explore it completely (it was a pretty short window there). We have a ton of features you liked in the Boss theme, like distraction-free mode and dark mode, which were implemented months ago, plus many more. The reason I'm concerned about your video, in particular, is that all your followers looking for 'best LearnDash themes' might give eLumine short shrift as most of the time is dedicated to a walkthrough of the Boss theme. I would sincerely request that you review eLumine in equal detail so people have enough common parameters to compare the themes and make an informed decision. Hi Adam, first, many thanks for these great videos you're creating! I have a big question in mind, we're just starting to setup an online academy and I'd love to use learndash + buddyboss for the social integrations and beautiful courses theme, but then for my main homepage and other inside pages about the academy, will I need to create a whole separate website with a normal themeforest theme for example, with redirections? Or there's a way to keep all-in-one using only this BB theme? Many thanks!

I’ve been very impressed with the new BuddyBoss Platform/Theme. It makes BuddyPress a lot nicer! Shame it doesn’t work with AppPresser as I’ve got a Learndash mobile app and it won’t work 😢

i have tried to see if memberpress can work well with LearnDash but I don't see it very useful ! it's very expensive and add nothing special : can you tell more about the integration to sell courses ! Since i had worked with ARMember and it looks far more andvanced for is price ! I thought the ^rice differences make MemberPress great but it's doesn't look that clear !!

You need to consider your hosting again. Buddyboss is not light and as Adams recommended, you shouldn't be in a shared hosting platform when you use this theme.

My problem with LMS’s is they always seem to look so sterile. This BuddyBoss has a very attractive learner experience. The weight on the hosting is a little concerning though. Of course your friends over at Astra are going to be heartbroken if you leave them I’m sure.

Yea I use it on my websites, well 2 websites now. BuddyBoss works extensively with both builders and of course WooCommerce also.

How strong server you need for this platform. Which plan are you using on your page ??

That would depend on which theme that you are considering using. I have noticed that with quality shared hosting the page speed ends up being fine. This means not using something cheap like Hostgator and instead using something a little bit more quality like Siteground.

can i ask, how do i create a single site that covers both trainees and their teachers? clearly, i want the teachers to have their own forums and trainees theirs, and keep them separate so that one can’t delve into the other in order to provide a safe environment where things can be aired? and just one other thing... if a member uploads say a copyright photo - i trust as site owner - i will not be sued because it wound be publicly visible - other than through the forum?
