This is a full review video for the Yongnuo YN 300 III LED light. I have used this light for over a year and I have found it to be one of the best LED lights for video; especially if your are on a tight budget.

What would be the best recommended brightness level for a wedding reception?
@42Pros
@42Pros 3 жыл бұрын
That would vary greatly depending on your camera(s), the venue size/interior colors, the preference of the bride and groom and how high you can place the light in the room/area. I’ve used a single light as low as 50% and I’ve used 2 lights on a 10’ stand as my primary lights at 100% and a third light as a rim light at 50%. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

This specific light does not have a fan. It has several slots on the back panel for ventilation to keep it cool while using it for extended times at the highest settings. @42Pros

If the room has several windows or one large window it probably won’t be enough but if you have light control (shades/blinds) then it should be good. If the light has to be over 8ft (~2.5 meters) away then it may not be enough as well. Hope this helps.

@42Pros
@42Pros 4 жыл бұрын
At 5600K they will be very similar; slight win for the YN300 (5600K only light) but since the GVM 560 is a bi-color light it would be a substantial amount brighter at 4600K since you would be using all 560 LEDs. The YN300 will be smaller and easier to transport in cases/backpacks. Hope this helps.

I have heard so much about Yongnuo 300 III, would you recommend that or the Newer NL660. I am totally new to lighting and am keen to hear your opinion. Thanks
@42Pros
@42Pros 4 жыл бұрын
That is more of an apples to oranges comparison but depending on your need(s) for lighting either could work. The NL660 will have more output than the YN300 III since it has 600 LEDs but that also makes it significantly bigger as well. So if you have to travel a lot then the day light only version (5600K) of the YN300 would be my suggestion; great output with the 300 LEDs (which is the same LED count as the NL 660 when it comes to 5600K colored LEDs), smaller, much less expensive, very easy to travel with and has dual power options (AC or SONY NP-F style Battery). If you won't be traveling with your lights that much then the NL660's is the no brainer, bi-colored, higher output (@3800-4000K you get the max output of both sets of LEDs). But, if your budget is limited then the YN300 is the obvious choice between the 2. It really does give you a lot for your money. You just have to really think through what your primary needs for the light(s) will be and decide from there. Hope this helps.
@momzy5297
@momzy5297 4 жыл бұрын
@@42Pros Thank you so much for your prompt response! You are absolutely right. I have been looking into them and they are not really comparable. I guess the real question is YN600 vs Neewer NL660? Would you happen to have a preference out of these two?
