Cobi makes amazing sets: great designs, extremely high-quality bricks, good manuals, and interesting pieces that Lego doesn't have that allow for new building techniques. And like you say, they make the military sets Lego won't.

Nice to see coverage of competing brands, but it's inaccurate and a disservice to call them knock-offs. If we're going to say that, we should call Lego a knock-off since they took their core idea from Kiddicraft without permission. Brands like Cada, Cobi, Pantasy, FunWhole, BlueBrixx, etc. are legitimate competitors with original designs and proper licensing agreements. Lego is not the first or at this point even the best company to make interlocking brick toys.
