Best Lens for Canon t7i

Hello Mele, I'd always recommend renting first. This way you don't get stuck with a lens that is not good for you. www.lensrentals.com/ is who I use. The Tokina might not be the best option for what you are looking to do. Usually, photographers use autofocus a lot and I would personally prefer a Canon Lens if I was focusing on photos only. IF you give them a shout, I would ask them for recommendations for your T7i and grab a few that are in your purchasing price range. It will be in the range of 11-22 mil if you want super wide. That lens is good when you have super confined areas inside. I would try to get something with internal stabilization in the lens. The truth is, I could tell you a lot of things, but it's always best to try it before you buy it. :-)

@@BrianAiken thank you so much for this BUT this is why I came here, you see where I'm from - TONGA - an Island in the Pacific, we do not have specific shops for cameras and we don't have the luxury to rent and test out as it is not available here. I'm looking into ordering online - thanks to Covid - and this lens won't be for everyday use it'll be used only on some occassions. We have a shoot coming up of about 100+ group (for work actually) and this is one of the reasons why I'm asking around, I need what I can use in such circumstances...MALO (Thank you in TONGAN)

Why does no one mention the Canon ef-s 17-55 IS USM 2.8? Constant 2.8 aperture from 17-55 (27-88mm) and costs less than $400 used. Probably the greatest apsc lens for the value

have you used a ef 75-300 lens on your t7i I'm looking into buying the t71 but that lens is the best for the sports photography and video I shoot but don't want to buy if there not compatible any info would be greatly appreciated

Oooh you basically answered my question on the comment i put the other day! I asked wheather to get the tamron or 70-200! Woo! Ok in getting the 28-75 f2.8 first THANKS! Kinda feel like a noob 🤣 because i had lenses for my canon but now im using a sony full frame! These lenses are CRAZY expensive! Lol the gmaster is as much as my a7iii but the tamron is only 800$ so im gonna take advantage lol

in the next couple of months, I may purchase my first DSLR camera, the best one right now in the market based where I live, and what is suitable for my budget is the T7i. What we get here are the kit camera and not the body by itself. I am also taking an online course in Photography, and based on the multiple videos that I saw it's becoming overwhelming, and technically I cannot go on a full shopping spree for the camera. i already buy t7i and you should choose a suitable lens such as 24-70mm cause it really helpful in every situation and it's because it is a crop frame camera what should we expect in a really tight situation

Hi, i just run into your video and i wanted to ask you about the lens you recommended Tokina 24-70. Is this lens also the best lens for portrait? I have the T7i as a gift and i been trying to learn the art of taking picture and I’ve been practicing with the cámara. I was asked if i could take pictures for a sweet 16 and i really want to capture the best picture for them. Right now i only have the lenses they cámara came with which are the EFS 55-250mm and the 18-55mm. If the Tokina is not the best for the event could you recommend which one i should get.
