Ok, wow, this system is really well thought out. That multipurpose grip, filming handle, selfie stick with a reposition-able bluetooth shutter release button, cold shoe AND Arca Swiss compatible plate built in? Magnetic filters, too. Benett do you have any opinion on the VND with Mist? Would you rather soften in post?

Thanks for your comment Paul! Yes the grip is well though out! I was surprise too. Yes you can also soften the highlights creating a glow effect in post without necessary needing a mist filter :) but if you want to skip that process you can use the mist filter.

I see they also make an anamorphic lens… in general, what are your thoughts about using these specialty lenses with a smartphone? Are they worth the trouble? I don’t think I’ve seen this addressed in your other videos. Maybe a new topic for you?

If you're looking to create a unique look in your videos they are a great option. They allow you to capture a wider field of view with a unqiue shallow depth of field, providing a cinematic look that many filmmakers find appealing. However, they do require some setup and technical expertise to use correctly, so they may not be suitable for everyone. It's definitely worth experimenting with them on your smartphone though!

If you see the entire market, we are the only brand that gives these filters with lenses. Even if you opt for a reasonable price lens on the market + add these 5, you will be paying anywhere between USD 300-500 for a single setup.

How hard is it to clean the lenses off? That’s something I hated about the polar pro iPhone case, nearly impossible to clean the lenses off because of the lens mounting threads being small.

Both are great lenses but have a slightly different look. I like the sherpa filter system, as its convenient to switch filters magnetically and the m-mount makes it convenient for mounting the lens easily.

For vlogging I usually don’t use any filters, but you might need them for your b-roll, for example a VND filter is great for achieving a more natural looking motion blur in your video. I also see myself using them for time-lapse videos :)

Whoever designed that grip needs to go back to attend a design school. It's 'nice' because you got it for free but: the lanyard mount is huge bulky and absurd for such a small but essential role. It either prevents using the arca mount or the coldshoe when it's installed. It' unusable with the selfie extended. Six 1/4 mounts placed on top and bottom of the grip each at 5mm distance?? What's the point of that? Mine never closes entirely unless I push it back in. The spring is not able to defeat the friction of the selfie part and stays 3..4 mm open which makes it somehow unsafe with IP15pro or other phones which are not that huge. Pity they wasted good quality materials on a sloppy design.
