So this option is wrong. b) different chemical properties : Isotopes have the same chemical properties as their number of electrons and protons are same. So this option is wrong. c) different number of neutrons : We all know that isotopes are of the same elements. This means that their atomic numbers are the same, i.e numbers of protons are also same. Now , we all know that mass number is nothing but the same of Number of protons and Number of neutrons. As the mass numbers are different but number of protons are same. Therefore, the number of neutrons have to be different. So, this option is correct. d) different atomic numbers : This option is wrong as they have the same atomic numbers. So, the correct answer is C. Sir, pls justify my answer...
