I was fortunate enough to visit Maestro Emigdio this spring and enjoyed some 10 year in glass madrecuixe that he had at the house… really delicious! The man is a maestro w all agaves but his madrecuishe is perhaps his best.

Oy my gawd!!! That Madrecuishe aged in glass for 10 years must have been mind bending. I haven't had the opportunity to meet him yet but it's definitely something I'll seek out next trip to Oaxaca. Thanks for sharing this story, Eric. It's fantastic!!

Excited to see new content. Love your videos. I would point out that the Dixeebe Madrecuish is coming in at $90 for 375ml, so def in the more expensive category.

Hey! I'm glad you are back as well. I'm going to try and go on a run here. Thanks for the heads up on the Dixeebe, that's pricey IMO for a 375 ml. They are a really good brand but that's upper echelon pricing that works out the be $180 for a full bottle. Not mid-range pricing for sure.
