Im going to get my fiancee a used gtek or ego11 , ive seen a video of a guy using peanut butter and elmers glue as lube on the gtek and freeze it and it still shot great, its very reliable

I miss the days when the dm6 came out and its sleek body compared to the dm5 revolutionized guns today. they are all sleek. I credit the dm6 and also the smart parts shocker(not the shooebox 02 shocker)

I'm out of the scene but I would go buy a used geo 3 and call it a day. They have to be as low as 300-400 used now I'd imagine. It's the most reliable gun I have ever used, shoots so smooth, very efficient and I love how the shot is

axe is one of the best guns regardless of price. I shoot an LVR and to be honest the axe is just as good of a shooter

I’m torn between a 160r and a dsr. I don’t have any paintball shops near by which sucks when you can’t hold em. I’m tall and have fairly big hands and it looks as if the dsr is quite smaller and I do like a more stretched out feeling. Any input?

No. The issue here is that the price ranges aren't even. There are a TON of cheap guns. A fair amount of mid level guns. A few amount of high end. The "mid range" then shouldn't be calculated as a mean, it should be calculated as a mode (the most common entry). If you think that on average every paintballer pays $850 for their setup, you are batshit crazy.

Mid range is determined by the person purchasing the marker. I've always shot high ends, so when I look at an XLS yes, it is mid-range compared to my Ice. He gave a big gap of prices to hit everyone's "mid-range" price point.

Cam Free if you like it I would keep it unless you really want to upgrade. If you are just casually using it and not using it for tournaments you should be fine. Up to you though

Nick Talley That’s why it’s the cheapest. Shocker XLS all day fool. Better board, better barrel, better design. I mean c’mon. Why did PE run the air flow old school style on their mid/high gun when their high end CS series is new school through the frame? That was the deal breaker for me. Sorry, know some people like that but I just see that as a cheapskate mistake by the design team for the 160r.

Is the empire mini gs a good marker? Didnt see it on the list, seeing them for 390-500 depending on the color, anyone know if it is comparable to the markers shown in the 300-500 price range?

I've got my eye on their Acid Wash Blue/Pink Axe 2.0. Definitely will be paying a bit more, but I don't think it'll be as common as the blue or red ones I've seen.

I've played airsoft for about 5 years now and id like to try paintball and if I like it I'll deffintly get my own stuff. Shawn Girard im going with the gtek160r i think planet eclipse is a company you can trust i like the dsr and the shocker but ive heard loads of positive feedback on the 160r

sizgy tube don’t know if u already decided, but the 160r is a phenomenal gun. The dsr uses an different threaded barrel so you can’t use a different barrel unless it’s that kind of threaded barrel. The shocker only works in warmer temperatures so if you live in an area where it tends to be colder I would stay away from them. Planet eclipse has a great customer service and their guns are known to be super reliable. If you want that good reliability and performance go with the 160r.
