Actually, the technique was first depicted as strictly yellow. Much like the Final Flash. Subsequent appearances of the move in all media have since either maintained the yellow, switched to blue, or depicted a combination of the two colors in tandem. And so, there is no one "correct" color palette for the move. Unless of course you want to stick with it's color of origin. Again, exclusively yellow.

One question, do these mods replace the characters' base model or do they function as skins? You can exchange it for the game itself

they only replace the characters original skin, but now there are mods that are adding a new skin slot
