agreed, I think it was also the 5th or 6th series that finally put the nail in the coffin!. not only where some of the storylines bordering on the point of ridicule but I think the writing started to get a little sloppy too!, I've never seen any of the post gavey episodes but I've heard that they weren't that great!.

Benidorm didn't seem the same after the Garvey's left. Since the Garvey's left, the best character has only really been Joey.
