I remember back in the 90s, especially from 1996-1998, two national TV channels in Indonesia were competing to broadcast the NBA Finals. They took turns airing the games live - like, Game 1 on TV A, Game 2 on TV B, and so on. It just shows how huge Michael Jordan was.

@@FlymoufDiction I was talking about the actual starting lineup not a fantasy one. If I could make my own like you just did I would go with Hakeem Olajuwon at the center spot, Tim Duncan at the PF, SF I would put Scottie Pippen , SG - Jordan, and PG - fan wise Penny (but realistic wise probably go with Stockton). I love Magic but I feel Stockton would play his role better than anyone. Get Jordan the ball. Move out the way. Hakeem and Duncan down low. I use to go with Rodman but his antics get old fast. Duncan is reliable. Scottie at the SF over Grant Hill or Bird cause Scottie is the best Robin. Does a bit of everything and does it fine.

Two things: 1) Somebody check to see if Perk’s family has been returned. I’m sure the Klutch told him that he unharmed as long as he stayed quiet. 2) Of course he called glass. Jordan’s ability to use the glass on shots goes back to UNC. Commentators need to do their homework. Not all jokes land.

ESPN ranked the Top 100 professional athletes since 2000 aka the Top 100 pro-athletes of the first 24 years of the 21st Century: 1) Michael Phelps, 2) Serena Williams, 3) Lionel Messi, 4) LeBron James at only number #4, 5) Tom Brady, 6) Roger Federer, 7) Simone Biles, 8) Tiger Woods, 9) Usain Bolt, 10) Kobe Bryant. However, when ESPN ranked the Top 100 professional athletes since 1900 to 2000 aka the Top 100 pro-athletes of the entire 100 years (the whole Century)of the 20th Century: 1) Michael Jeffrey Jordan easily won the #1 spot, 2) Babe Ruth, 3) Muhammad Ali, 4) Jim Brown, 5) Wayne Gretzky, 6) Jesse Owens, 7) Jim Thorpe, 8) Willie Mays, 9) Jack Nicklaus, 10) Babe Didrikson, 11) Joe Louis, 12) Carl Lewis, 13) Wilt Chamberlain, 14) Hank Aaron, 15) Jackie Robinson, 16) Ted Williams, 17) Magic Johnson, 18) Bill Russell. So Michael Jordan is the #1 GOAT Athlete of the whole 20th Century, and LeBron James is only the #4 Athlete of the 21st Century. ESPN got this one right all the way. Nobody was a better athlete than Michael Jordan because Michael Jordan was better than everybody. Look at the distance between LeBron James and the VERY next basketball player (Kobe Bryant) in their era, and look at the distance between Michael Jordan and the VERY next basketball player (Wilt Chamberlain) in their era. There are 5 athletes between LeBron James and Kobe Bryant in their era, and there are 11 people between Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain in their era. The distance between Michael Jordan and whoever you have at #2, in regards to professional basketball, is the distance between Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain on this ESPN list. Case closed. GAME OVER!!! 👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Serena Williams,Tom Brady Tiger Woods are not in top 10,they are on that list just because they are americans. Novak Djokovic is 10 x times better than all of these. Lionel Messi is #1 easy ,footbal is most popular sport plus in football is really tough to show your individual greatness,in all other spor from top 10 is pretty easy.
@ManoManov3 ай бұрын
@@Mr1888888888 100% agree, plus it's an ESPN ranking which automatically makes them a bit non-challant when it comes to football, which is not popular in the states, but the most popular all over the world. I grew up watching and still to this day I am basketball and a football fan, since a kid MJ is my man and still my favourite baller and basketball GOAT and probably my favourite athlete. However, Messi is #1, easy. It's 1 thing to take over a basketball game of 5, but people can't comprehend how hard it to be able to take over a football game against 11 people, how insane this is and how many times he did it and what he manage to achieve in a heavily team orientated game in the most popular sport with the highest level of competition out of any sports (football is way more developed in terms of competition to basketball and the competition of Messi was even higher than MJs and Messi still dominated the game). What Messi did is absolutely insane, and if you watched how the other professional football legends talk about him, it's crazy. And, yes, I know they talk about MJ in a similar manner, but when Messi peers talk about him, they don't talk about like is only the GOAT, they talk about him like he is a genius, which he is when it comes to football. Also, football has even more different aspects in terms of positions and Messi is flawless in all of them, he can score, he can pass, he can assist, he can defend and create pressure with his presence, he do it all.

No hyperbole when Legs was talking about electricity. I witnessed young MJ and then prime MJ a few times when Bulls came to LA to play Clippers at old LA Sports Arena and the electricity in the building was like nothing I have ever experienced. The closest thing was at the Tyson-Spinks fight in Atlantic City. And it seemed like the game was played in Chicago Stadium. MJ stole ball at midcourt and would have had a breakaway dunk but was fouled intentionally and the home crowd booed like they had seen Bill Laimbeer on the jumbotron.

We need to devalue a bit his scoring titles. You may have had Hakeem, Drexler, Bird and Kareem but you put today's scorers in that era being Lebron, Curry, Durant, Giannis and Luka and he wouldn't have as many or other way around putting him in todays era. Curry and Durant you could question just because Curry's offense would be more rounded out to assists and more players getting the ball. Durant being a liability with his body
