There is now a £750 free grant u can use for any advance payment n if u don’t use it u actually get the cash from motability so u can get a new car plus a handout of 750 at the same time.
@CliffordRutley5 ай бұрын
Its a one off grant given to all notability users after the delays in new car deliveries caused by the pandemic and we used ours last year on our MG4. You will only get it off one car and that's it. If you watch my updates from last year and before you will hear me talking about it.

You need to pick a car with Vehicle 2 Load or Vehicle 2 Home discharge capabilities. Then rig stuff to run off an extension from it.. kzbin.infolto5Awmmkt4?si=IIn7K9rNPD77kWYh

One way to see if you are getting a good deal is to see what everyone else is being offered! DefinitelyNotAGuru shows what lease deals are on offer. Of course they don't include insurance, maintenance and breakdown cover.

Clifford, how about sorting them by body style and boot size? Seats up and seats down, since many would get more into the boot of a small hatchback with the seats down if only two occupants.

Could you also add the veterans WPMS advance payments to your videos please? Otherwise great informative videos thanks.
@CliffordRutley7 ай бұрын
read the full description. Putting all the benefits in would make the video over an hour long and ignored by the KZbin algorithm. So I concentrated on the most common ones.
@headleynorth57227 ай бұрын
@@CliffordRutley So, I take it that is a 'no' then? Just putting a link to the Motability website in your description is hardly satisfactory as one has to constantly stop the video and go to the motability website, then back again. It would only take seconds to quote the WPMS advance payment when you quote the other advance payments and improve your videos for disabled veterans no end. Thanks.

@@CliffordRutleywhy be so brusque to the point of rudeness, by saying read the description. Maybe it's a Geordie thing, just be more gentle & be polite rather than pedantic. You need to look at yourself a bit in how you come across.

Am I right in thinking without checking, that the Octopus cheap rate only lasts five hours? So 7KW x 5 equals 35KW? So doesn't benefit a larger battery? Am I right?
@CliffordRutley8 ай бұрын
It lasts for 6 hours from 11.30pm to 5.30am and it is only on their Octopus Intelligent Go Turriff for EV's.
@CliffordRutley8 ай бұрын
You will rarely need to charge your battery from fully empty on a daily basis. Not unless you travel 200+ miles every day. Most EV users top up only 2 to 3 times a week for local commutes.
@tyrantwitness24828 ай бұрын
Zero down because they aren't selling! Probably a good choice for those who don't do long journeys and don't use charging stations! Most of which don't have canopies to keep you dry. Who wants to pay upto 85p per KW?

Most people on Motablility aren't shooting off on long distance trips around the country and having a whale of a time. They need the vehicles to get to hospital appointments, see specialists to help them with their disabilities and get their other chores done. So they're ideal for most of them.
@CliffordRutley8 ай бұрын
All car sales were down in December so read your headlines in more detail. 2023 was a giant year for EV sales. Nearly 315,000 battery-electric cars were registered last year. A growth of 18% on the number registered in 2022
@CliffordRutley8 ай бұрын
They're on zero rate because they're getting cheaper to produce and cost Motablility far less in maintenance and devaluation. And once sodium ion batteries become more popular they'll soon be cheaper to buy than petrol and diesel vehicles too.
