BEST MOTORCYCLE ROUTE IN THAILAND? (ROUTE 1148) Phayao - Nan Motorbike tour | THAILAND VLOG

Today we continue the motorbike tour of northern Thailand, and I will bring you to possibly the best motorcycle route in Thailand.
Route 1148 it's actually listed in the top 10 best motorcycle roads in the world!
We are starting the day in beautiful Phayao and then we start the ride on the 1148 route, ending in Nan province.

Some 30 odd years ago I clocked up almost 4,000km riding a Honda Dream around the north of Thailand, including accidentally riding 50km into Myanmar. Great memories, thank you for bringing them back.

The lake that you find in Phayao is called Kwan Phayao. It is the largest lake in northern Thailand. It covers an area of more than 20 square kilometers and the water flows here from 18 rivers. I've been to this province, it's peaceful, beautiful nature. very nice people

I have done a fair bit of northern Thailand on an Africa Twin & will be doing 1148 early December. Scenery looks nice so looking even more forward to doing this trip. Love the Africa - great bike for long travel on the road. Cheers

Nice video again Gabi. In 2019 i was in Changwat Nan, Srinan National Park, with my family. I drove a Pick-up truck and was amazed by the beautiful roads that are so well maintained. Next time i go there i will rent a big bike.
