IMO, contact/touch points are the first essential upgrades, then tires. For my D6, in order: Pedals (Chesters) Grips (PNW Loam) Handlebars (PNW Range) Tires (Maxxis Minion tubeless) Fork (Pike) Brakes (SLX) The stock seat works OK, so no change needed - yet! Upgrades and add-ons, but not essential: Dropper lever Fenders Frame protection

Yeah I decided to upgrade a set wheels from San Quentin 2022 the hubs that are cup & cone just won't do.
