Clearly, these rats are mice whatever they are, our pets. They are used for a demonstration on how to build a proper mouse trap or rat trap. The only reason I say this is because the water level is too low for them to drown. He made sure to keep it low enough where they can stand on their hind legs and keep their face out of the water. And that’s OK. I respect that.
