I am from India and my grandparents are from Layyah. All people from Layyah, Muzaffargarh, Multan etc call themselves "Multani" in India. This sohan halwa is very popular in north India and was initially made by people from that region. Local people call it "dhoda". And Rewari is a city here in my state (Haryana) and almost every city here has a shop named "Rewari Sweets". They are mostly known for their white khoya barfi in every city. It is strange to know that "Rewari sweets" in Multan is famous for sohan halwa.

Thanks for sharing this information seems interesting, anyway Rewari sweets is not only famous for sohn halwa but it has vide range of sweets including burfi as well, since this video was on comparison therefore Rewari Sweet is also one of good sohn halwa makers.
