Thoughts on how it compares to the new Dewalt 12v (not the 20v)? Concenus seems to be that it's a better in almost every way than the 20v, and it's even smaller & lighter than the M12.

I've had the DeWalt on the work van for a three or four years. I obviously like the blade change but not a big fan of the actual tool. It gets hot, and has parasitic drain on a battery if not removed before being put away. Will drain a battery down to nothing on the gauge pretty quickly if stored with a battery on the tool. How's the run time on the 12v? I was interested in it but wasn't sure on the runtime with the 12v. Then I was going to buy the 18v fuel, but felt it was kinda bulky. Ended up adding the Flex platform into the work van for an oscillating tool. Time will tell on the Flex I reckon, and if it goes well I'm interested in their mud mixer and tower light.

How does the batteries last, I want the m12 but I feel Like I would be going through batteries

I agree with you 100%! I loved my DeWalt and it’s made me a lot of money. But after trying the M12 the Dewalt hangs in the garage as a backup and the m12 is on the truck. The m12 is so much faster, smoother , quieter and easier to handle. If something happens to it I would get another one as soon as possible.

I am sorry, the Milwaukee M12 Fuel is a good multitool but the best right now without doubt are the two new realeaded Fein with Bosch Profactor batterys

The DeWalt 12v Xtreme is just as Fast and an Inch Smaller than that Red CHINESE Brand .....👍🖖
