This boat was like 3,500 last year without a trailer. I wouldn't pay 7,500 for this rig but that's just me.

Tracker and Bass Pro-Cabbela have doubled its prices in the last 4 years.. and I see the same boats sitting in the parking lots month after month.. they are in effect destroying its own market by pricing out the beginners. that would spend way more if they sold these starter setups lower and make profits on selling the rods, reels, all the other shit as you said... but no.. they priced out most people making less than 100,000.$ salaries. Capitalism FAIL. I see these mega outlets will be in Chapter 11 sooner rather than later.. currently I rent my boats at the park marina.. and lug around a cheap Tohatsu 2.5 hp. and its all I need without all the costs and hassle.. I have not set foot in these mega rip-off shops in years.. get all my lures online discount outlet way more .. the thing about boating.. it is a hole in the water you just keep throwing money in.. I read the Wall Street Journal religiously and this trend is everywhere.. without any real reason for it.. they say its the Pandemic.. BS.. or the 'supply chain' ... BS.. it is not.. it is PRICE GOUGING FOR SHORT TERM PROFITS.. plain and simple.. but there will be a DAY OF RECONONING WHEN THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL SIT ON AND ON WITHOUT BUYERS.. then the DEFAULTS AND BANKRUPTCIES WILL EXPLODE.

They are nuts I got a real bargain off a guy he won a boat and I got a crest liner 2022 1648 mod v Jon 20 inch transom for 2500$ was never in the water. New trailer too what a find💪

I think barebones are the way to go. So many lakes don't even allow you to have gas motors it's nice to buy barebones boat and put on an Epropulsion outboard. Seems hard to beat for around $10k. Still though, I would like to see 1600's at the $5k mark and not $7k+.

Yeah I totally agree Karl. Perfect boat for Setting up for electric only lakes. You can still slap a outboard on it and I wish too the were a little cheaper. Thanks bud

Boats have gotten crazy price wise the last 4 years I got a 2019 xpress hd16db with trailer and 25 Yamaha new for 12,500 live well rod locker that holds about 10 rods carpeted front storage that’s carpeted gas tank a deep cycle battery the price on those boats now is close 17,500

Mine was a 1648 with an outboard, tolling motor and batteries for $3200. Hard pass, if I buy it new it better have most of everything I want. After I finish with it, it will be about $7-8k and I’ll be happy with it.

Those things are a lot Heavier than a regular Jon boat. That sounds like a lot of work but I could be wrong

Just paid 4100$ for my polar kraft 1448 mv and brand new trailer with it 12 in tires myrtle beach comes through again that was with tax new im stoked waiting on my 20 hp tohatsu now

In texas they are so hard on regerster your boat with tittle for boat and trailer plus title for motor..face book is full of boats with no titles for all of it.even the motors.

I bought my 1648 grizzly tracker in 2018 for 1,999$ and the trailer was 1000$ They have tripled in price. Bought a 30hp Suzuki for 4k. in 2018. Its a good small lake and river boat. Not great for lake Erie on windy days. Don't ask me how I know.

You notice the seat hole is center of the back bench so you can't work the tiller from the center.

They ran my credit 2 times and I got a better rate than what is on the listing tag. My video describes how tracker tacks on a few optional things before purchase, too!

They use expanding foam for flotation in these boats when they manufacture them. It will get water logged, and then you will be carrying around a bunch of dead weigh unknowingly.

Yeah that spray foam gets water logged and then can mold and not good for high humidity in the compartment all of the time.
