@ByCandlelight666 Live, they played as a 2 piece. Just Leah on vocals and guitar, and one dude on drums.They used some backing g tracks, so they sounded pretty damn perfect. You still felt all the emotions in her songs. Leah is a total sweetheart in person too. Their new album sounds great if you haven't heard it yet.

Got the New Arctic CD "Vault" on the strength of this post- great post punk guitars and icy synths but it is Eleanor X's voice that does it for me, wonderful lower register female vocal, she half-sings and half chants her lyrics, haunting and kind of shamanic ambience- right up my street

@@ByCandlelight666That’s fair enough man. I just recently got into a band called Lycia and in 1995, they made an album titled The Burning Circle And Then Dust, which is a brilliant album! It’s got the aesthetics of gothic rock, yet the album has been widely recognized as a ethereal wave album.

Best Goth bands 2024 ? Oh mine Goth!!?? Firstly it might be I am not in this or any of particular part of genre but this recommendation does not represent any pinnacle of Goth music in 2024! Black Angel is an exception and obviously does not belong to this list. Hate me for this! Me myself is involved in creating or performing music and always looking for an artistic expression regardless of genre so haven't find any so much within this list (exp. Black Angel)
@ByCandlelight6666 ай бұрын
@@danil3572 I don’t hate you for this! 🙂 But just to remind you that I state that a lot of these bands are ‘goth adjacent’ - so bands that goths may like, that may not be ‘pure goth’. Happy listening! 👍💀
