No, not really. While shooting he's able to do that only since recently. I've been going behind them and killing while they shoot in the wrong direction since forever, but it stopped working about a month or so ago.

Quarter player count? i mean we are at 38k in peak hours and peak last wipe was 65-70k, its less than half, and we had a loooo of casual new players last wipe cause was new on steam and for free, this are the normal numbers i think... if they make some publi work maybe we get some more players but we wont go back to 70k ever i think, at least not without a huge marketing thing.
