I saw this on another channel and made it for Easter my Family loved it. The sour cream was a neat new ingredient but I did the whip cream so I will try it with just whipping cream form scratch and see how that taste. Ok Leigh Ann, you may need to sit down for this one. I turned sixty years old one week ago and I have never had banana pudding. Never. Not once. Unfortunately, I have also had to save this for when we start our RV adventures as we don’t have vanilla wafers in any Canadian grocery store I have gone to. I am tempted to try it with peanut butter cookies, but I usually like to try a recipe in its original form before I start playing with it. The other HUGE - and truly insurmountable - issue is that I live in a VERY remit town where our produce is flown in twice a week. Bananas just do not react well to this because the cargo area is neither heated nor cooled, so they freeze in the winter and go to mush in the heat of the summer. Regardless, I am looking forward to trying this recipe when the situation allows it. It looks like it would be a cool and light finish to a meal enjoyed in a sultry, summer evening. Ok, I wax poetic here, but indulge me - I can’t actually EAT this luscious looking creations for five years! 😂 Hugs from the Canadian Arctic❣️❣️🇨🇦

@@MakingMyAbodeOTR I may just give it a whirl next time I go south and stay at my son’s house. Edmonton is our main hub that we fly into and he happened to be posted there a couple of years ago. As there are no doctors in our town - we have a nursing station - and very few specialists in the Territory as a whole, I am often going to Edmonton for medical, and usually stay with them (yes I love the adult kids, but our two youngest grandkids are there❣️❣️) so peanut butter and banana pudding it may have to be! Who knows, maybe we FINALLY started bringing ‘Nilla wafers to Canada….. but I am not holding my breath on that one! 😁

I’m kidding; but seriously they are a blessing. We know how incredibly blessed we are as we have nine grandbabies ranging in age from almost 15 to almost 5! I am so excited to see all of our kids and grandkids in a week as our middle child is getting remarried on 22 June! ❤️❤️❤️
