BEST Northern ITALY road trip | Secrets of the Cinque Terre and Lake Orta

A week long road trip in our self converted camper van through NORTHERN ITALY. From the Lakes and Lake Orta, to the coastal treasures of the Cinque Terre, Italy delivered in spades.
In this episode we enjoy a couple of blissful days on Lake Orta, swimming in Europes cleanest lake, before driving to the coast where history had us spellbound and the charming villages of the Cinque Terre didn't disappoint.
Our goal is to inspire you, to prove that anything is possible, that dreams do come true. We hope to create a supportive community of people who share their own dreams with us and each other.

I just loved Lake Orta too. You even went to the same plaza I did where they claim to sell the best ice cream in the world of which I had some!! The church was as beautiful as they get.... Pity you didn't go out to the monastery in the lake. An idyllic spot. I love those incredible villages built on virtual cliffs on the Med. You'd wonder why any body would build there in the first place? Just when you think the beauty of one place can't be beaten along comes another with it's own beauty which also can't be beaten. I se John and I both enjoy Somerby's Cider. So much for the beer. 🙂I saw spotted the cider in one of the Portuguese vids. God Bless.

I started watching your channel when you started your journey in Portugal and since then started to watch your videos of the beginning of all your journeys. Antarctica and I must say Tara and John what an insight to seeing the world. Though I have been on many trips, from Rhodesia where I was born and raised, through to Johannesburg, South Africa, and moved a few times inside South Africa then onto the Netherlands, now the UK have been to Italy where we visited Pisciotta, visited Pompei, Palinuro . You going on all these journeys has brought back many memories. Thank you for sharing.

Why do you pronaunce cinque terre like it is in France. Twice, so it is not a mistake. For sure is that if you travel you should know how it is pronaunced locally. If not, what is the point of travelling if you don't try to know local language, culture, food etc..
