I think for us melanin infused girls all we need is a brown lip liner and any shade will look good. I would stay away from a lot of the shades you mentioned but now that I see how good they looked once you blended them in with the liner I'll def look into them! I just wish there were more nude shades for us that dont require a darker lip liner to look good and not ashy

Yvonne Blake it depends on how dark you are and how pigmented your lips are. A lot of dark skinned girls have a ring of brown on the outside of their lips naturally, but if u don’t, then u can just skip out on a lip liner or you don’t have to go as dark as chestnut with it.

Such beautiful combinations💕 I definitely agree. It's hard to find nudes that look good on deeper skin tones. Some of them are so light it looks like I ate a powdered donut 😂 I'm liking the Intimatte Nudes from Maybelline. They have some darker shades in the line.

Try Maybelline 575 and 570 they are a beautiful rose nude and matte. You can apply a really thin coat of vaseline if matte lipstick is drying for your lips.💋💋💋💄💄💄

Aysha, your eye makeup is superb in this video. I am 61 yrs young and started experimenting with neutral as well as colorful eyeshadows. My preference in the latter are dark greens. Have you tried the Freedom eyeshadows by Inglot or any of the MakeUp Geek eyeshadows. The individual pan selections in both companies have a very broad spectrum of colors and shades. I will be watching any of your future videos to see if you cover my recommendations. One more thing I give MAC a close third when it comes to eyeshadows. And my favorite Holiday palette was the Kat Von D Metal Matte.

This is a great video for me as a light complexed WOC I struggle with finding a good nude lipstick. Most of the ones I've purchased wash me out. I'm going to buy ABH Ashton and TF Papa don't peach lip oil. Yesterday I picked up TF Tickle Me Peach lip oil. I love Maybelline Untained Spice on me. I have Colour Pop Beeper but never liked how it looked on me. I'm going to try it with a brown lip liner. I'm loving Nars Audacious lip stick in Jane as a pretty pink/peach nude on me.

Great job with this video. Well done. I like the colors (and combinations) you chose. Since, in general, I don't do a lot of ombres, the best ones for me (NC44 skin tone) are Maybelline Untainted Spice, MAC Verve, and ABH Sepia. I am also really partial to the new Maybelline Color Sensational Inti-matte nude lipstick in the shade 575 Brown Blush. A lot of other people like it too. Everytime I am perusing the Maybelline section at stores that color is sold out or only has one left. Also, as a person who lived in the upper peninsula of Michigan for many years, I picked up on your Canadian accent really quickly. :)

These pinkish/mauve nudes are my favourite too. I bought a bunch of the new Maybelline lipsticks when I saw them at Rexall the other day. I got some matte lips 770 Mauve it (bold collection blue cover), 570 Toasted Truffle, and 575 Brown Blush & some cream finishes 950 Untainted Spice (it looked a lot more purple in your video, irl its more brown imo) and Maple Kiss. They're all really great! 👍🏾 also Echo (satin) by Mac is amazing. Oh and Molasses and Chai by Bite Beauty are amazing too. #lipstickismyvice 💕

Because of you I went and tried the "papa don't peach" lip gloss and it's bomb! you were so right about it not settling into fine lines with the liquid lipsticks! definitely my new fave! you should try "cool girl" and "naughty by nature" with "poppin peach" gloss over from TOO Faced on top of it! you will love it!

A couple of other Maybelline colors that are really pretty as nudes is something called chocolate lust and the other one is called taupe seduction. They're really pretty with the right skin tone.

I feel like one should be able to wear a true nude alone, without liner. That's what I'm looking for. I bought like 8 browns this weekend trying to find a good fit. I found a sheer gloss that's perfect: L'Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lipgloss is 835 Truffle. I'm still looking for a lipstick though. I found Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 300 Coffee Bean. It's almost perfect but just a little, tiny bit too dark. I'll keep trying. I may go to Sephora where I can swatch the lipstick so I don't have to keep wasting money.
