1) make sure in Encoder settings, GPU value is set to zero. 2) make sure your GPU drivers are updated. 3) ensure that your graphics card supports the video encoder 4) if your problem still is not fixed, your drivers may be corrupt. Download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to uninstall your GPU drivers and then reinstall Geforce Experience after.

Seems like a driver error. try updating your gpu drivers with GeForce experience. If that doesn’t work or they’re already up to date, then use DDU (display driver uninstaller) to uninstall your drivers. Then reinstall them after your computer restarts

@@Cyphon The best free editing software is Da Vinci Resolve. Like I said it's completely free and absolutely incredible, it works just as good as a paid software! Just type it in on google and they'll have a website, then just simply install from there. It'll look fairly overwhelming at first, but trust me, after a few times using it you'll slowly start getting the gist of it. There's tutorials on KZbin for it too that I highly recommend watching, they helped me out a ton when I first started. Just search up "Da Vinci Resolve (then your version, ie 14, 15...) beginners guide." There should be a ton. About your videos going black with no audio, do you have any sources if any? If not, add one called "Game Capture." If so, and I'm assuming it'll be Game Capture, right click on it then select properties. If you haven't touched this screen, the "mode" option will automatically be set to "Capture any full screen application." If your videos are not working under that option, change it to "Capture specific window." Then a new drop down box labeled "Window" will appear under it. Load the game up you want to record, then go back to OBS and click Window, and there will be a ton of options to select, but your game will definitely be there in the middle of it somewhere. Select it then go back to your game and try. If the CBR and 16000 kbps don't work, try lossless. If that doesn't work, try CQP with 15 as the CQ level. Lmk if any of that works, I don't know much about the audio on OBS.

Best possible recording settings actually are: MKV (Matroska) container with MagicYUV encoder. The MagicYUV codec costs around 14 dollars and it will allow you to record full 4:4:4:4 YUV color range. The color profile you set at I444, Full in settings and audio PCM 24-bit LE (little endian) uncompressed - given that your sound card can record in 24-bit.

many others have this problem with Lossless and i’m not sure the solution. your best bet would be to try recording in MKV and then remux your recording after (if you don’t know how to do this, it’s very easy just look it up)

Before I try this, I need to know if you're running OBS on your dedicated graphics card or your integrated graphics card. Mine is QuickSync H. 264 Ia that graphic card?.. If it is im okay with it but the part you said chose lossless im kinda missed.. Becuz mine is kinda different... It shows "target usage" and yours is "rate control"can u guys help me solve this? thanks

that isn’t GPU encoding. x264 is CPU encoding so i think that’s what you’re using and it might just be a different version of it. if not, then use x264 with a rate control of CBR @ 14,000 kb/s

@@Odeh nvm i chose the basic one instead and it works 60 fps well thanks for helping becuz my laptop is medium ended graphics😅😅
