Most of the shop work is done with zero safety and even if they don't lose a hand or an arm, it's ultra repetitive they will lose their mind/break their body doing that.

At 0:54 - that's not how to put a bearing on a shaft. The idea is that you cool the shaft (with dry ice, for example) to shrink it, and you warm the bearing to expand it, then when the bearing is fitted and the shaft warms up again and the bearing cools, you have a tight interference fit. What is shown is doing it backwards, guaranteeing a loose fitting bearing, possibly with the temper of the inner race destroyed. Also, it looks like abraisive paper that they are using to heat the shaft with friction, and that would also reduce the size of the shaft. I don't know what they're doing, but it doesn't look like engineering.

Lost art, I learned to shape body panels from sheet and use 60/40 lead/tin as filler as opposed to modern products like epoxy (Bondo) for automotive body work from an old body man that worked at a Cadillac dealer. They actually had to fix things back then, not just replace them, lol. It paid off later on when I got into restoring cars though, and even today it's a sought after skill and people pay to learn it, so I'm glad I learned it for free! Now cars are basically glued together, better living through science I guess, lol.

Forget the *clickbait,* the money counter vid was sped up, without even bothering to mute the sound (you can hear people in backgrounds talking like fax-machines), so *fake* aswell. I'll find videos like this satisfactorry, when it gets a strike from internet provider (say, the user would have to pay a _fake penalty,_ added to his monthly bill). 90's are over long ago, it's time to sell your stuff the fair way.

This would be great if there was some context and explanation of what we're being shown. Like the first stun gun thingamajig, I can see it's a reserve battery for electronics hooked up to a momentary switch but what is the other part, a capacitor of some sort maybe? Is there a step up transformer that would make the voltage painful enough to thwart an attacker? I mean really, WTF, lol. And the thumbnail is nowhere to be found in the vid, that's the definition of clickbait, I really miss the old days of YT but at least the wicked witch is dead now. I wonder if that'll relax things a bit and make it worth starting a channel for fun again, from the start I've lost probably 9 or 10 accounts for BS, most after she took over. Nobody was supposed to make a living of their channel's when this started, it was info and idiocy sharing and quite organic, now it's profit driven from clicks and likes and algorithms and this is the mediocrity we get. Nothing worse than being spoon fed info as if we adults can't figure right from wrong. Maybe YT should do a better job at keeping little kids off a platform developed for adults instead of restricting what adults can and can't see or hear. Sorry for the rant, but the state of this platform for those of us that have been here from its inception has hit a high point and gone straight downhill from there, unless you're a content creator that utilizes YT as a main source of wealth building. A quarter for your thoughts, with inflation and all, lol.
