To help from scrapping your wanted items, rename them like add a z to the begining then it is at the bottom of the list plus it starts with a z so you know to not scrap it.

I got a lot unlocked on day one -- after that, I started really not getting much. I think they made it easier on day one to get people excited and hooked on scrapping legendaries.

There currently isint a pitty system in the game so probably just a bad RNG spell since the chances are very low but i wouldent be surprised if they introduced a mechanic like this in the future. Sorry to hear your having bad luck! Hopefully that turns around soon! 🤞🖤💯

One tendency I've noticed when using this process is, once I've unlocked the effects I want I quit scrapping them; I scrip them instead. But I think I saw in your video that after unlocking the plan, there's still a chance to get back boxed mods of those effects I want - which are a lot cheaper than crafting. Mighty tempting reason to hold on to those legendaries, to continue to scrap them.

Craft and scrap Unstoppable monster, The Gutter, Mechanics best friend, head hunter scythe, whistle in the dark and medical malpractice, for a lot of the top legendary recipes. Iv already got about 12 recipes unlocked. bloodied, vamp, strength and so on.

I can vouch for that, did the same, and spent two hours farming death claw hands (from meat bags) so happy when the bloodied plan dropped and the other two as mods. I already had VATS and explosive plans.

Are you sure all these weapons can drop legendary mods or unlock them? For instance, I’m interested in scrapping the Head Hunter Scythe but I don’t know if it works like the medical malpractice (for instance).

I’m jealous, good job! I hadn’t hoarded decent weapons and armor, i sold most of them or gave them to players. I’ve only unlocked 3 craftable so far, but all 3 are good. I think the chances are 1% to learn 1.5% to 2.5% to get box mod.

I had 6 mules all filled to capacity of 3*s (actually all pretty good ones) way prior to knowing about this. Even with all burning through of that I still need to unlock : overeaters, UNY and bloodied (which covers all useful) I have scrapped over 150 of each of those at this point. also it took me over 100 scraps to unlock explosive . I think Bethesda is using this as a database purge.

Maybe it's to make the servers a bit more stable by not having to process so much stuff on each character. That isn't a bad thing in itself because once you have unlocked your desired legendaries, you can put it on any weapons and won't have to store the good ones and taking space in your stash.

I managed to actually get the VATS Optimized crafting option. . .Needs a good amount of modules though to make so I'm just putting a feather in it right now as I'm still rather new and finding my footing.

Hey so I’ve been using your vats heavy gunner build. used it a lot last season was destroying but I’ve been using gauss minigun with AA Explo -25 this season and I’m telling you it’s crazy please try it you can get up to 95% explo damage which no other gun besides other gauss guns can do and bosses don’t have explo resistance I have videos this season destroying the queen with it I just wanna know your thoughts on what’s the best weapons for heavy gunner vats :)

The gauss cannot take explosive bullets on it for a 2nd star, it already has explosive bullets from birth.

@@GlassGamingGG sadly, i gave many of my “decent” weapons (not as good as my nearly god tier stuff i run with, sure not all 3 stars are amazing, which i hope to fix) to new players or sold them in vending (to have high level players buy them when i have a camp near the wayward for newer players) All before the patch i was unaware of as i had just taken a huge break on the game, and don’t use mules…. So its been from the starting point for me, cuz my good stuff i still have can be tweaked in my stash is staying put!!!!!!

The downside of legendary modules being scrap is that it can now be dropped and looted by anyone when you die since it will be left on the ground along with the other scrap you had on yourself so gotta be careful with that now. I reckon trap camps will do a comeback just for this reason alone.
