I love the born to run palette, I don’t love the packaging design either ... but it’s an awesome palette! So many things that came out after this one I was able to pass on since I felt like I already had it in the born to run. This is one of the few palettes that I have used every color and use them all quite frequently!

The CP Good Sport also made it into my top 5 palette faves for 2018! Such a standout release with a beautiful colour story and great formula. They killed it with this one.

I agree with Colourpop's Good Sport palette! I wanted it as soon as it dropped, but I was only able to get my hands on it two months ago! It's so goooood

I also love the two ABH palettes nearly the best, but I’d put Norvina slightly ahead of Soft Glam. However, my late-breaking favorite of the year is the Lorac Shine Bright palette that hardly anyone is talking about! It’s so good. Happy New Year!

Great 👍 video. I never saw the palette you choose as your number one. I do like the colors in it. I totally was surprised when I saw it. ColourPop shadows are bomb! My number one palette would be the Dream St. I got a ton of use outta that palette in 2018!

Totally agree with you about the UD born to run! The outside looks like the end of a Toyota commercial 🙄 but the shadows make it my #1. It + the TF pineapple palette + viseart minx are my go to, live in my makeup bag shadows for 2018

My staple go to this year was mostly the Tarte Star palette! I don't usually get pay off from tarte their shadows are a hit or miss. They're chalky n just not too pigmented... I remember instantly regretting it after I ordered it, BUT once I started using it I was pretty surpised! The shades are pretty buildable! And all in all awesome for everyday use!

My favorite underated eyeshadows are the Cover FX Shimmer Veils. They are liquid eyeshadows with the perfect amount of shimmer in a formula that's comfortable, easy to apply and blend, very long wearing with no fallout. Just exquisite shimmery, sparkling colors. I had to buy more once I tried the amethyst shade. Second place goes to the Julep Feels Like Velvet eyeshadow duos. They are really amazing - soft, easy to blend, very beautiful color combinations. Also love the ABH Sultry Palette. Thank you for your fine reviews!

I think besides the born to run, my favorites were abh sultry, dose of colors pretty cool and snow angel, and the Natasha denona sunset palette (didn’t come out this year obvi but I got it this year). So hard to chose favorites, and I didn’t even get that many this year lol

LOVE Good Sport!! It was only my 2nd CP palette (1st being last year’s holiday release, All I See is Magic) & would definitely be one of my top picks as well. I’ve gotten far more into singles this past year or two so only picked up a handful of palettes in the first place but in addition to Good Sport my other top faves from the year - in no particular order - are Nomad Cosmetics’ Berlin Underground, Juvia’s Place Douce, Alamar Cosmetics’ Reina Del Caribe & Viseart’s Theory in Siren. And while I don’t even have it yet, based on my consistently great experience w/ the MANY singles of theirs I do have, I also feel the need to at least give a shout out to Sydney Grace’s recently released Autumn’s Reign as well as to Jouer’s Making Magic Ultra Foil Holiday palette, which I haven’t had long enough to quite list as a top pick but am really enjoying (& tbh am kind of surprised it didn’t get more attention).

Colourpop is expensive to ship to Canada hence i dont buy it. But once upon a time i got colorshock quad (the 1sr katleen lights colab) and 2 lippie sticks and they were nice i still have 2 of the shadows and like them. I love soft glam too :)

I just bought Dream street, good sport, you had me at hello, yes please, that 6 pan little palette you mentioned, element of surprise and fame today!. I never tried colourpop shadows but I want to know what the hypes about. The only one I may not regret buying is double entandre palette but I have those colors a lot over and over. I have tartelette toasted which is a dupe.

I was so waiting for this video too! I loved that you mentioned the Tarte foiled little palette- so beautiful and I am also a huge fan of the CP pretty much palette- such beautiful colours. I got the soft glam for my birthday this year and was also gifted the Norvina one, but they are ornaments still- I feel like I wont do the palettes justice, yet I got sent two Sultry palettes and I had no problems with blending with that palette and the Modern Renaissance- whats wrong with me?? I don’t have nowhere near the quantity you have but my favourite palette of 2018 was the Nars Wanted palette. Close second was the ND Camel palette. I just bought the UD Born To Run palette which I’m excited to use more, as well as the Nars Provocateur holiday palette. The Nars Ignited palette hasn’t been released in Australia yet but I’m interested. Others tempting me is the BareMinerals copper palette, the Persona Identity palette and Persona Copper palette. Do I need them? No. Do I want them? Yes 😬

I absolutely love ABH palettes too. I do not own their original OG palettes but I have starting Self-Made, World Traveler etc. I plan to continue for each one that they put out. Good list of your favorites and sticking to your own preference. I enjoy hearing what others like that does not make it to mainstream conversation or controversy for that matter. My favorite palette for 2018 has to be...for indie brand (Alamar Reina del Caribe Vol. 1) and high-end (ABH all 3: Sultry, Soft Glam and Norvina. Though I now own Pat McGrath and have to test to see how I like😍 Next year I hope to see more variation in color themes including monochromatic with different finishes (like an all burgundy palette with pops of champagne, golden bronze, duochrome or multichrome shifts). I seriously want to own a duochrome and multichrome full palette. I really want Colourpop to release MORE MATTE X lippie stixs. I could take a whole collection of them. I want to try their new Fourth Ray Beauty skincare. Happy New Year!🎉🎆🎇

Anastasiia S have you considered singles instead? There are SO many fabulous options, especially from smaller indie brands, and you can get exactly what you want & nothing more. I’ve definitely been leaning more that way the past year or two & the options are endless, many with really great quality that is as good as if not better than more mainstream brands.

I find some if the dream st shades are very hard to blend. The colour stays in the area the brush initially touches. I love the shade selection though

Great until you put the Wants Emily palette in, it's truly crap it doesn't work or last it's terrible I'm from UK here make up revolution is a kiddies brand pocket money stuff sold in a bargain chemist line called super drug! No main line shops will even stock it's literally for age 12/17 max , terrible brand xx
