I came home from school today and talked to my mom about some good news. This semester is supposed to be easier, etc. She then pressured me and turned the mood sour by threatening what will happen if my report card from first semester has a C on it. It might. But I put in a lot of work and stress to get the highest grade I could. She doesn’t look at it from my perspective and never will. I paid attention. Stayed after school. Studied late. I just have a hard time focusing. It’s not the phone. Or the games. It’s just me. I don’t like doing pointless busy work. Literally anything else would be interesting to me. Even the ceiling. Guess what I’ll be staring up at if the “distractions” are taken away? Thank you for the music, Sheepy. It means a lot to me and takes some of the pressure off my chest. I'm 45 years old. Trust me, the emphasis we put on our kids to be perfect isn't necessarily for their own good- a lot of the time it is for _our_ own good. It makes us feel better about what you're up to in school. Clearly good grades are better than bad for getting along in the world, but a "C" is not a bad grade. And in the grand scheme of things it's who you are and your work ethic that counts to employers. What you can _produce_ for a company means more than what grades you got back in the day. You say you put in a lot of effort, Matt, and _that's_ what's important to employers- effort, brightness, and creativity. I'm sure you'll do fine. We're pulling for you, friend.

Many Straight A students wish they didn't take school nearly as serious as they did, because when they enter the real world they realize nobody gives a shit about GPA. Meaning they could've went out more, partied, had a social life, and if anything their career would have improved through "networking," despite the lower GPA...

I listen to all of these great songs on a pair of Tannoy Berkley’s from 1976 arguably one of the single top best pair of speakers money can buy even against the modern standard for top end. Coupled that with a pair of alpine SWR 1241d’s at 2ohms powered with 300wrms from an MRV T707 tuned to a true 22hz. This music can not only be heard but the full rhythm felt throughout the whole body like smooth caramel. The SPL sometimes even blows the bulbs in my listening room. This is all to let Mr. Suicide sheep know that their music is being played as or better than the creator ever intended and is fully enjoyed as such.
