Love a debut-- love the magic of discovering a new great author! This Girl's a Killer was my only debut this year-- and sadly, it didnt work for me like it did for you. i DNF'd it ... not because it was too dark and bloody (though it was a bit too bloody), I just couldnt suspend my belief enough to enjoy it. Now I will say this-- i rewatched seasons 1, 2 of Dexter over the break which i looooved so maybe I will revisit This Girl's a Killer. Will check out some of these others for sure! Thank you!

Happy New Year, Audrey! Wishing you all the best in 2025🎉 Fantastic Best of 2024 - I have to read Astrology House, right up my alley. I have made notes on a few others, as well. I would have to say Defending Jacob, The Last Thing He Told Me and Middle of the Night were highlights for me. Well, Meeting Riley was the highlight of the year!

Great bunch of books!! I've not read any of them so here goes my TBR exploding again. Definitely playing backlist Bingo to get some books on my shelves read. Just glued the board into my reading journal. Writer envy is a real thing. I experience every time I read a good book LOL

Hi Audrey! Your taste is impeccable, as always! I loved so many of these, but any I hadn’t yet read, or weren’t already on my list for soon, I promptly added!! I had to pause a few times to add books! I LOOOOVED Night Watching and can not wait for more by the author. So, another 2024 debut I loved was Everyone Who Can Forgive Me Is Dead. I loved that book, and await more from her, as well. I so so so love your videos and I anxiously await them every Sunday! Thank you for doing them! ❤❤❤❤❤

I just read Lessons in Chemistry and I honestly felt that the dog was the most likeable character in the book!

So glad to see a good book video, stuck indoors today from the snow storm. I’m definitely going to get This Girls a Killer & Society of Lies.

We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer was my favorite debut! Classified as horror and it had me creeped out. Really, really enjoyed it.

Happy New Year wishes from Russia. 🤗❄️🤍📚✨ Sorry about your back pain. Hope it gets better soon. 🩷 I injured my tailbone by falling on ice a few days prior Christmas, it sucks. 🤨
