In Japan, when I asked if I could take a photo on the grounds of a fire station, they initially said "Sure!", but then the chief came out and said, "Delete everything you've taken right now," and "It's inappropriate whether you're on the grounds or off, and it could lead to liability issues, so please stop." Foreigners all come to Japan saying they love Japan, but to Japanese people, Japan is worse than garbage. Japan is a stiff, unreasonable, arrogant, and cruel world. I'm jealous of America, seriously.
