We love Guerlain - I have for years (too many to count!) but Shalimar was always a challenge for me, it was too "scratchy" in my throat for some reason (weird?) but the new Jasmine one is stunning - have you had your nose on that fragrance yet? I think you'll really enjoy it!

your channel is a new discovery it showed up on my feed. I'd love to be entered into the giveaway, I'm green to fragrances i only got into it this year. sitting with a bunch of samples with the hope of buying a niche or higher quality scent this year. last year i got a lot of wear out of ajayeb dubai portrait (mango kiss dupe) and khamrah/qawah. today i sampled serge lutens un bois vanille and i've been loving the quality and getting whiffs of it. tbd if i get a bottle. always excited to try new scents. I used to only own burberry her and poudree by narcisso rodriguez and i love the variety i discovered so much better. i like stepping out of strictly feminine scents and trying unisex or dark moody scents.

Welcome to the Fragrance Family!! It's a hobby that we've both enjoyed greatly, and you're definitely entered into the Giveaway!! I (Susan) was much more cautious and afraid of "challenging" fragrances, but have embraced my journey and am finding I very much LOVE some things I never would have even tried before! The Ajeyeb Dubai Portrait is a great Mango Kiss Dupe, and the Khamrah/Qawah is a stunning scent - both excellent choices! If you want a great dark moody scent - look into scents with the Incense note in them - I've found I really like the note and it can really warm up a scent. I was interested in Reine Makeda- however, many are saying its rose dominant, a no go for me, I dont like rose at all.

I LOVE Reine Makeda - I don't find it to be super rose dominant, but if you're not a Rose Person, stay away from it! You might enjoy Divine Tentation, it's a spicy, boozy fragrance. I also like their Oriental Oud very much. We've sampled them all, and I have all three of the ones I mentioned, as well as Balquis de Saba and Beaute de Reine, but honestly, they were all beautifully blended and delicious!
