3:19 actually, no. According to the rice crispies website, you make rice crispies treats by melting the butter in a bowl, and then you pour it onto the bowl inside, coating it. Then put the marshmallows in, microwave for 2 mins, take out and stir. 1 more min in the microwave and the marshmallows should be good. Then you add the rice crispies, and mix. Then pour it out onto a pan and let set until hardened enough to make bars. If you put the cereals in the microwave with the marshmallows, they will get squishy and all...*ew*.
