I've been eyeing the BB face base for a while now, geez... it seems like it would glide over the skin like a dream. Have you ever tried the glossier priming moisturizer rich? And if so, is it remotely comparable? I noticed they share some of the same ingredients, though I believe the glossier does not have silicone at all, I could be wrong. Would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions, but the BB seems worth the price tag.

Yes! This is the first channel I’ve found where the makeup style is exactly what I prefer (so refreshing when everyone else is layering on heavy products) and her chill personality and thorough reviews are the icing on the cake.

Have you tried the L'oreal age perfect line? I feel like younger people are turned off by the name/marketing but the foundation and concealer are both my current favorite base products as a 29 y/o. The concealer is almost too dewy, which I never thought I'd say as someone with incredibly dry skin and undereyes, but lasts decently well. Maybelline fit me is also my holy grail concealer.

Great tip: if you have an old tube of Covergirl lash blast mascara. Keep the wand as a lash comb; now you have the perfect de-clumper for your lashes when your mascara leaves your lashes a little too clumpy. 👌❤️

The only things I haven’t tried are the Ulta products and rare beauty,as they aren’t available to me in Australia 😭. My favorite brown eye pencil is Urban decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil in the shade Demolition. It's a matt neutral brown. I like to use that in my upper waterline because it's soft enough not to hurt when applied. I prefer using brown liner over black because I'm so pale that a black liner looks so unnatural...

The Kosas concealer is everything. I have two, one that I use as a concealer and the other as use as a bronzer. Speaking of bronzers, Fenty has some of the best bronzers I have ever used. Love your indepth commentary.

I got CT oyster pearl this year, Kosas concealers and Roen 11:11 palette. Have few other products on my list. You made me buy it. I bought Lash Paradise because everyone said it was great but I don’t like clumps. I love the Covergirl so much better.

Just an aside, I think you would REALLY enjoy Lancôme’s Definicils mascara. You can get the gentle framing look or build it up to the Fenty vibe. Lasts all day, so easy to remove. If you want even more oomf, their lash primer is amazing. Just thought I would share! You’ve helped me lord knows how much over the years!

Ulta’s retractable eyeliners are really good. It’s overlooked in the online beauty community because youtubers tend to stick with liquid winged liner but I feel like more “typical” consumers like that type of eyeliner. I also finished up two or three of their Luxe lipsticks back when I worked in an office. The Ulta brand is tricky because it’s priced to make you wait for a “buy 2 get 2 free” sale. I’ve noticed that they seem to be sourcing from Seed/colourpop and Markwins/WnW. Makes sense that you like the Ulta matte liquid shadow because I really like the WnW version.

doesn't have to do with the video, but I remember writing in March, saying that I had products on hold overseas because of covid and quarantine. I just got it! so, wow. In everything that I've receive, the Chanel le blacn rosy drops are the best, it's like a less greasy version of the glossier future dew. I'm so torn between buying the Koh Gen Do aqua foundation or the MUFE foundation 😩 I appreciate a bit more coverage so I'll probably go for the Koh Gen Do, but the MUFE is just so much more accessible for me 💕

Have you heard anything about the Suratt lash tint? I’ve heard some interesting things and seems like it might be up your alley- just a bit too pricey for me to test out. that Covergirl mascara was a longtime fav of mine!

I so admire how you do your makeup. I've tried your looks on myself and I've concluded any kind of shimmer/glitter/wet looking eyelid doesnt look good on me. I really feel in the minority here - like everyone loves shimmer but it highlights a weird looking eyelid shape I didnt know I had? I've felt this way over the years but 2020 was the year I decided I was done buying any shimmer type formula. I'll certainly try those ulta matte shadows though!

I’m glad you differentiated the matte daniel Sandler blushes - I had tried a shimmery one and not liked it. Any tips as to whether the matte ones play nicely with all foundations?
