Imagine what it must have been like at 17 leading your band and being informed that you're filling in at a concert because the original headliners weren't going to make it. It was Februsry 1959 and the artists he was stepping in for were Buddy Holly Richie Valens and the Big Bopper aka J.P. Richardson. He and his band did. Bobby Vee is a true legend. We lost him a few years ago and he's still not the rock-n-,roll hall of fame.😂❤
