The first time I played Slender the Arrival I got to the house at the beginning of the game and just looked at the missing person poster in front of the house on a tree. And Slenderman killed me immediately. When it reloaded the checkpoint it just loaded up some kind of fail state where you're on fire and Slenderman is just looming over you and there was no way out of it if I recall. I had to make a new game and start over. And I've played the beginning of that game multiple times since and I've never been able to replicate that scenario ever again. It just happened the one time.
