This was the most dominant performance in the history of the show. Haters be damned, idc. He literally controlled every aspect of the entire game from start to finish. He dominated the game physically, socially and strategically. People can argue that he was a fourth timer against newbies all they want but truth is that it was just as much of a disadvantage as it was an advantage. He was playing against people who knew his game and he went into it blind to theirs. He was also playing against people who absolutely did not want a returnee to win the game under any circumstance. This was proven when a challenge was thrown just to send Russell home early in the season. Rob realized that the newbies didn't want him to win, and he was able to turn on the social charm to not only stay in the game but gain complete control. The most amazing thing about this entire season was that Rob realized that the newbies were sooo against a returnee winning that he would not only have to get himself to the final tribal to win, he would also have to drag the two weakest and most disliked players to the end with him because anyone else would probably beat him. And guess what? He actually accomplished that. Do people who hate on Rob understand the difficulty level of that?

@@1survivor566 Kim's One World game is definitely better in my opinion. For a number of reasons, but just for starters she took the 2 toughest opponents to the end, while Rob took the 2 biggest goats in the whole game, who couldnt have won against a single person. Russell Hantz or Julie Wolfe would have even won over Phillip and Natalie. Ashley, Andrea, Grant all do better than Rob did against them, they all win 9-0-0 vs the 8-1-0 Rob had to settle for. Sabrina wins against everyone but Kim but Kim took her anyway since she knew she could beat anyone and did handily.
@1survivor5665 жыл бұрын

Russell is actually the last person besides Phillip and Natalie to beat Rob in a jury vote, but I assume that isnt what you mean. You mean he is the only one who could have gotten Rob voted out.
@thegraylink82695 жыл бұрын
Richard Ross yeah I meant that he was the only one who could get him out but his tribe got rid of him too early. I’d kept Russell till merge and get rid of Rob and once Rob was gone for good get rid of Russell
@richardross46775 жыл бұрын
@@thegraylink8269 I wouldnt get rid of Russell. I would take him to the end for the obvious reason (2 jury votes out of 18 in his 2 finals).

I still remember when survivors set the show up just for a rob to win with like the worst Is fellow players that.. I loved watching the show. Then rewatched it and couldn't believe it. They absolutely loved rob... And had to have him win eventually.

I actually like Rob... he played the game with such conviction and purpose. He did it for his family, not himself and that's admirable. He reminds me of my husband in many ways (God rest his soul) especially when he becomes emotional talking about his wife and daughter. I know my husband would have died for us and in some ways he did. Rob has a huge heart and he wares it on his sleeve. How can you not respect that.

It's interesting he fell in love with Amber. Now he has 5 Amber's in his life now. Amber his wife and his 4 daughters I know they have different names. A true love story enjoyable to re-watch over and over again.

Rob is one shrewd character and I wouldn't mind it if he was on every season of Survivor because he is so entertaining. He is wrong about the whole Power Couple thing though. 2 people are still only 2 people. You need a much bigger alliance than that to make it to the end. 2 won't do it, and that's why it took him 4 tries before he won. He got lucky also on the 4th try. He got some timid young girls that were willing to do anything he said. This last season of Survivor proved that the newbies are getting smarter. Their first order of business was to vote off every returnee. Now if the vets would have gotten together to protect themselves maybe things would have been different but they played like rookies and were trying to get each other out.

I will give Rob credit for being entertaining, and amazing liar. He lies nearly as much in his own confessionals talking to the audience as he does to the other players. I guess that is to potray the picture of himself he wants everyone to believe, impressive stuff. Some hilarious things along the way: 1. Throwing the idol clue in the volcanoe after already finding it, and laughing about it. I found this great. 2. Calling Natalie a sweet girl repeatedly; yeah right, aside from being pretty she comes across as the stereotypical mean girl in a local high school. The jury all hated her guts to high heavens as 0 votes proves, such a sweetheart, LOL! What he really meant is her ass is sweet. 3. Pretending to actually be friends with Grant and be upset about voting him off, ROTFL, yeah fucking right. 4. Calling Matt a strategic player and saying he is a threat since he is very strategic early in the game. I die rewatching that. Yeah the guy so dumb he tells you he was voting you out but changed his mind later in the game is so strategic.
@tylerbam71835 жыл бұрын
The Rob-Grant friendship is the fakest thing on the history at the show. I thought Rob was just mean though to pretend to be upset about Grant not talking to him anymore at the Reunion, when I am sure he didnt give a shit, and just wanted to try and embarass Grant in order to be a bully. The game was long over and he was still being a dick and bully, one reason I can never be his fan even though he is a great player.
