With my big feet and arthritic knees, I would never make it up that clock tower, so I’m glad you did so I could see what it looks like. And I laughed out loud when the music of the bell stopped, and you thought it was over and started talking for a few seconds before that last loud clang. The Christmas market looked very festive and fun, and it appears that your brief trip to Bruges was a great success.

The horse & carriage ride looked fabulous, we did a tour of Central Park NY by horse and carriage & the bloke never said a word! And it was a lot more than 70 quid!! 😂 was lovely he was telling the history of Bruge to you 😊

Beautiful. Bruges is so pretty. The best Christmas markets I have been to are in Cologne in Germany. There are 7 markets that are all different and so pretty. There is a little mini train to take you between them all but they are easily walkable.
