He pampers him in any kind of way, material, love, affection, quality time, support, he motivates him, gives him mental strength and always has an open ear for him. The last Vlive showed this very well where V wanted to know if he could beat Jhope and Jimin in dancing. Jimin, as always humble and supportive, makes himself smaller and said only no about Jhope, but yes you dance better than me. Watch V eyes how shocked and surprised he got from Jimins answer, he smiled immediately. This is due to Jimin's emotional intelligence. Or when V started last year with fitness, Jimin was the only one who noticed and interacted with him, he touched his whole arms/chest to signal V how good in shape he is. Because he knows when you work hard you need some compliments from friends that noticing your work and results. Because if anyone here knows anything about working out it’s JM. He had the best and most trained body in bts for years, so hearing compliments from him is significant for V.

Jody, when you gonna stop listening to E-Mann and trust yourself when it comes to your BTS knowledge?🤣 I don't know how to describe Jimin and JK's relationship, and V and JK's relationship except to say Jungkook was so young when he joined BigHit (2011). He was only 13 years old. The next youngest members were V and Jimin, both being 2 years older. Jungkook and V had a very close relationship. They were considered partners in crime, always playing around and sometimes not doing what they were suppose to. Jimin and Jungkook also had a very close relationship but Jimin took on more of a older brother, looking out for his younger brother vibe. Also, JK has no issues with being touchy with his members, especially V and Jimin. I think he gets a lot of comfort from it. Unfortunately, a lot of cultures are not used to this and fans automatically started shipping these guys romantically. Now, there is a constant ship war going on and sadly V and Jimin receive a lot of hate for it. I'm not talking simple name calling. I'm talking about people trying to sabotage Vs album release, people organizing a hate campaign towards Jimin's father in the hopes he would un-alive himself. When Jungkook and Jimin enlisted as companions, a Japanese woman was charged for threatening to kill Jimin if he ever came back to Japan. Shipping has put a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths and it is understandable. Now you know why there are so many negative comments on Jikook/Taekook compilations. All the members are like family to each other. The hate has to stop.

How the relationships between the members is portrayed depends on who made the video compilation. True army just love the affection they display towards each other. Shippers will add dramatic music and will edit original footage to suggest what they want to see. If you look at the original footage in the right cultural context it differs greatly from the narrative obsessive shippers want you to believe. But all the members has its own character. RM and Suga clearly display tremendous respect for each other, Hobi likes to baby the younger ones, Jin is a dependable Hyung to the rap line and a lovable goofball to the younger ones. JK and V are the rascals who got into trouble together, while jimin and V have a brotherly bond and the same between JK and Jimin but make it flirty. Only indulge in shipper videos if you are interested in seeing the fantasies obsessive fans project on them.

There's zero competition between them. There's only 2 months between them (Jimin's the eldest out of the 2). They're same age friends and went to high school together and are truly like brothers, they call each other their soulmate. V was the hidden member. He was not allowed to be introduced until the debut in 2013. He joined the Big Hit team in 2011. The other boys made vlogs of the debut process, but V was not allowed to be shown. Jimin and V are the same age and went to high school together. Jimin was the last to join BTS. JK is the youngest. JK also joined Big Hit in 2011.

Jody - you were right. Jungkook is the youngest, but V was the last revealed. I have a question for you. Do you think that age has something to do with it? Jimin has a younger brother that I know he misses quite a bit. Jungkook has an older brother that he misses. I know that age is a big deal in Korea. The younger does what the older says and I noticed that sometimes Jimin takes advantage of that with Jungkook. Just wondering what y'all think. I also believe that Jimin is a very affectionate person he seems to need physical contact (in my opinion) and I don't mean as romantic touch. I come from an affectionate family. V wants to return to acting…..so you are right that he is looking at his solo activities more. Jimin is 2 months older than V. They are born in the same year…..that is an important relationship in Korea. Jimin may act cute but he is truly an old soul in the group……hence takes care of the everybody. But you are right…..Jimin and JK are the closest out of the group in that they are so Uber comfortable with each other that it IS an intimate relationship without being…IMHO….a couple kind of intimate. Jimin has mentored JK from the beginning since JK was 13 when he joined Big Hit and was very very shy and unsure of himself. Jimin was very confident and charming so he took JK under his wing and made him more comfortable in his own skin. If you really look past all the “touchy-feely” stuff you can see that those two absolutely adore and admire each other. They are what you would call “Ride or Die” friends. They call themselves “I am you…You are me” . Jimin and V are the kind of friends that can go for months or even years without seeing each other……and when they do it’s as if no time has past….soulmates.
