My favorite thing about Burnie is that he just exudes so much genuine confidence. Like this is real confidence - someone who can be playful and not take themselves seriously. I've met a lot of people who think they're confident but are too stoic, arrogant, or so afraid to be critical of themselves because they think it'll shatter their confidence. Burnie is the real deal.

When the shows went from stuff Burnie would writer with others from the RVB writing group to make things like, Strangerhood season 1, PANICS, 1-800-MAGIC they were cool as they are. As new people came in, the fewer and fewer projects that came out were stuff I cared about beside AH durring the Ray arc. I still tune in from time to time but not as often as I used to.

People gotta stop saying RT has "fallen off." It's being ushered into a new generation of people. That's what happens when a company continues to grow and expand. The fact of the matter is RT has changed and SO HAVE WE. It's not a bad thing. It's just different. If you don't like it, all good. If you like the new generation, cool. Things evolve and move all the time. This company has always been pushing to find the different and do well within it. As people are being reminded as of late, Bruce Lee said it perfectly, "Be water, my friend." Going to miss Burnie a lot and the old guard is starting to realize that the new generation is ready for the reigns to be handed over. I'm excited about the new generation. I would argue that RT core content and AH are in a golden age right now... People just don't want to accept it with all the changes happening.

To say AH is in a golden age because they have more funds and space to make projects is asinine. The crew not vs the old crew is night and day. Change is one thing but don't say people's opinions that rt has fallen off at least a bit are invalid, they have a fair point
@Aplesedjr4 жыл бұрын
Just because change is happening doesn’t mean that it’s good or should be embraced. A lot of change is for the worse, just like how a lot of change is for the better. Look at the layoffs from months ago. That was a big change, but I imagine very few people would say that was a positive.
