@@GabrielsLogic Alegria's clown is an example of the other side of Clowning. A man approaches his train at the train station, he waits for the train... and someone else. We don't know who the other person is, maybe they are a relative, maybe a lover, maybe a friend. We do know they are close and that he hurts to leave them. But the other person is forceful, despite his care, and they slip a note into his pocket during the goodbye. We see him leave on the train and arrive, after the bustle of the departure he finds the note in his pocket. It's nothing good. Maybe the letter tells him she went with someone else, maybe it details a relative's betrayal, or maybe the truth of how the friend was using him. We do know it hurts. He destroys the letter and walks into the night. The last we see of him is as he's getting lost in a blizzard. Unsure of a destination for himself from here on. As I said, it's the other side of clowning. Not all the folks with funny faces are comedians and sometimes the act is as much a tragedy as real life can be.

i saw kurios live in Brisbane just days before covid shut the world down. the couch / cat skit made me laugh so hard i had an asthma attack and had to have like 10 puffs of my inhailer. so worth it though. one of the funniest skits ive seen in a while. I also really love the les cons from la nouba., shame it closed
