@21:15 I bet most anime only's have no idea of the significance of this scene. There are too many things happening simultaneously here if you know some of the lore. This scene that started it all was really checkmate on so many levels.

@@hoshii.8533 which we know is the only (mechanical) reason he was able to get into the tower. But was Yuri just hanging around in the floor of test? Did she just DECIDE to hand some stranger one of her most valuable weapons? Did she know anything about the cosmic significance of Bam entering the tower and what it meant for Jahad? Chess moves were made here, by more people than we can see in this scene. This isn't even a spoiler, it's just obvious so some of us. However, yes it is later confirmed that more was happening.

@ORO Correct, with a few exceptions and caveats. But why would I need to control Bam in this particular scene (his first appearence)? My goal is to make sure he gets into the Tower. I just need to make sure he passes the floor of Test. I can do that by controlling the guy who administers the Test on behalf of the administrator, as well as get Yuri down there to make SURE he passes. What if I whispered a command in her ear hundreds of years ago, then ordered her to forget the command I whispered? Forget subtle possibilities, what if I just straight up pulled Bam into the Tower because I'm strong enough, I have the will, he WANTS to go (no reason to control him, he's working FOR me), and why the F not? It would all appear as some miraculous subtle encounter (like in this scene for example...) so Jahad isn't immediately suspicious of his inability to see the future if Bam is involved. Not saying all of this is how it goes down or will go down, or did go down. Just saying it might not be too far off what's happening. I could have planned all of this in advance too, no problem. The key here is that Bam's will coincides with mine so I don't have to really control him, just offer him the mechanical means. Once he's in, whatever happens to Jahad happens. It was this set of moves that started it all though, so you could say forced checkmate occured here really.

Nightmerp I’m sure they wish they didn’t have to do that but you have to keep in mind they are suppose to fit SO much into each episode. It’s impossible to add every single detail. I mean trust me I hate it too. But we have the webtoon for that so I say just try and be happy we have it animated. But it would be nice for them to make some extra episodes explaining the lore
