Indeed!! I get the third degree when i tell my relatives i have it under control and they are pushing the doctor but i do have it under control and know whats going on and the outcome already when sickness pops up. If I don't i sure do take them to the doctor. Some things just need professional care and medicine. But id give my leg for my babies. And I sure never listened to thenin laws. Im happily divorced today thankfully.

The cold blooded grandmother in this story seemed familiar to me. My mother in law has always put money and opportunity ahead of all else in life. When my 19 yr old son choked on some food in his dorm room he was found not breathing on the floor by his college room mate. 3 days later in the hospital our family was gathered in a conference room and we were told by the head neurosurgeon that our boy was brain dead. My mother in law is a real estate broker. Literally 5 minutes after the horrible news, when she overheard the Dr. mention he had to head home as he and his wife had an appointment to look at a new house she immediately tried to give him her card, seeking an opportunity to make some money. He was appalled, as were the rest of the family members. My mother in law tried to sell a house LITERALLY over the body of her grandson! She made the most horrible moment of my life even worse by her heartlessness. 😢

It’s impossible to say what we would do since we aren’t part of that country or culture. I know I’m a strong advocate for my babies- adults now and would have taken my baby/ children to the doctor and don’t have to wait for someone else to take them when needed. This story is as hard to digest and so sad. Glad she was able to seek justice.

My elder sister went through a panic situation. The NICU misplaced her son. She had twins. One boy amd one girl. A volunteer im the NICU had put him in the wrong incubator. Instead of using his ID bracelet she just saw the empty incubator and placed him in it. For two hours it took the staff to find him. They had to check woth mothers feeding their babies and check every crib in the NICU..

Story 3 had me definitely understanding it all. Have had generalized epilepsy since 11. It sounds like what OP has, too. There are actually 3 different types. The major "fit" mentioned is a tonic-clonic, or grand-mal version. The stare offs are absence versions. The moments of a fast jerk are the partial version. Major triggers: lack of sleep(most times neurologists say 8hrs is needed), high amounts of stress, and flashing lights.

It's such a shame that there are still countries when you have to pay for a hospital or any doctors really... When the patient is a child. Hearing this I am glad that in my country everything related to healthcare is free for everyone. Whatever you have some serious issues and need a fast operation, or just have an allergy. Our taxes cover it all.

It’s hard for me to give my opinion. I grew up in the UK and do not have kids so it’s hard to imagine being in that situation. The hatred for two children for being born female is insane to me, the grandmother seems to have wanted a grandson to raise like she had done with her own son. The OP did mention that the grandmother was overbearing at first when her son got married. It sounds like she wanted to have a second child but for whatever reason was unable to and so she wanted the next best thing, a grandson who she could raise. Her disdain for the daughters must’ve been due to some negative stigma from the grandparents generation, wanting boys who would carry on the family name and were seen as more valuable in society. If I’m not mistaken China had some similar thoughts during the One child policy where daughters were abandoned as the parents wanted a son.

Story 2, I'm not surprised that mil isn't talking to anyone. Probably out of both humiliation, anger and feels betrayal at how once everyone knew the truth none of the sided with her and even helped op throw her out of op's house. She only begged because she wanted to see her grandson and son. Plus forgiveness as not to be hated. She's NOT sorry that she tampered with results to try to get rid of op. It was her stupidity to not think that her son and op to get the actual results that will show that she was lying. I'm not surprised that she kept trying to lie and get people to side with her. Bet it shocked her that everyone told her to shut up and were beyond disgusted with her. I'm betting she's jealous that op is so successful and how she didn't get to be like op so she tried to bring op down and when she couldn't she decided to get rid of op. I'm not surprised that she only apologized to her son then stopped talking to them 🙄. At least mil is out of their lives and won't try anything else to get rid of op. She knows now she's an outcast for her despicable actions.

I think like with many other cronic illnesses there are many medicines and it is important to find the one that fits the patient the best - and sometimes this medicine has not been found/realesed yet..... So called "home remedies" has been around for a long time, because they proved helpful and many are withoutside effect that strong medicines offen have.... I'm not advocating to go without medicines but as little and sporadic as posible.... For excample antibiotics work much more afficient if you only use them when absolutly necessary, as the body gets used to it and reacts less the more you use it...... OK, this should have been a short statement and here I am writing a novel, lol...

NO ONE WOULD’VE STOPPED ME FROM GETTING HELP THE VERY DAY I DECIDED SHE NEEDED MEDICAL INTERVENTION! I AM SURE HER MOTHER HAS A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF GUILT. I DON’T EVEN KNOW HOW SHE IS MANAGING TO COPE DURING THE TIME IT HAPPENED TO WHEN HER DAUGHTER NARRATED THE STORY. I’M SURE HER PAIN HAS DISSIPATED, BUT IT IS ALWAYS THERE! NO ONE WANTS TO BURY THEIR CHILDREN BEFORE THEIR THEMSELVES, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE SO YOUNG, AND IT COULD’VE BEEN AVOIDED! MAYBE SHE HAS SOME SATISFACTION AND A BIT OF COMFORT KNOWING HER MOTHER-IN-LAW DIED IN JAIL! SO GLAD SHE GOT OUT OF THAT TOXIC HOME! SHE WAS VERY BRAVE AND STRONG! A TRAIT I’M SURE SHE PASSED ON TO HER DAUGHTER! STORY 2: SORRY, MICHAEL IS 1000% AT FAULT! IF HE HAD TAKEN THE TIME TO READ OVER THE DNA RESULTS TOO, COULD’VE FOUND OUT INSTANTLY THAT OP WAS TELLING THE TRUTH! AFTER ALL, HE SHOULD KNOW WHEN HIS KIDS BIRTHDAYS ARE SEEN AS HE WAS THERE FOR THEIR BIRTH! WITH SUCH A CRAP HUSBAND LIKE HIM, I DON’T KNOW HOW YOU MANAGE TO STAY TOGETHER! CONGRATULATIONS, BUT I SURE WOULDN’T LET HIM FORGET IT HE HAS A LOT OF MAKING UP TO DO! STORY 3: IT’S UNFORTUNATE. OPIE COULDN’T GET THE WOMAN BACK WHO WAS MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN HER SEIZURES. THE DOCTORS AGREED THAT SHE WAS ON THE RIGHT PATH AND THE ONLY ONE CAUSING HER SEIZURES WAS HER MOTHER-IN-LAW! TOO BAD HER STUPID HUSBAND DIDN’T LISTEN TO HIS WIFE. NOT TRYING TO SOUND COLD HEARTED, BUT HOPEFULLY WHILE HE WAS PASSING, HE HAD SOME REGRETS! I WOULD HATE TO THINK DEATH WAS KARMA THAT’S JUST TOO MUCH AS HE WOULD’VE REALIZED THE TRUTH ON HIS RETURN. ALTHOUGH THIS WOULD DEPEND ON OP, AND IF SHE COULD HOLD IT TOGETHER LONG ENOUGH. ANOTHER EXAMPLE WHERE THE ONE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DEVOTED TO THE ONE YOU CHOSE TO LOVE, HONOR, AND CHERISH LET’S THEIR BETROTHED DOWN ONCE AGAIN! IT’S ALMOST LIKE ALL THESE MOTHER-IN-LAW‘S AND ALL THE STORIES HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN STIR UP TROUBLE. THEY SHOULD TRY LIVING THEIR OWN LIVES!

Spent on cruises and vegas trips with her daughters and nieces. But not one cent to her dead sons children. Pitiful woman turned her back on her only sons youngest kids. Even put us out of our home a day after the funeral. Ah well life goes on. Im in a better house now. My kids are smart and grown and seems like they will be great adults so her loss. Op asked if she was the A hole for revealing Richard’s double life so publicly. In a perfect world…yes. She should have been the bigger person and just told her husband and decided with him what to do. BUT it’s very possible none of the very righteous changes and discoveries wouldn’t then have happened. I would have told my husband but would have told him that a public disclosure was needed to make sure no other secrets were hidden. I probably would have stood literally beside Jenna, held her hand and told her I was sorry but this would be hard but necessary.

Really the sex of the baby depends on when in a woman’s cycle that the baby is conceived. If a woman ovulates on say day 24, there’s a 3 day period she conceive. Male sperm are faster than females, but die off in @24 hours. But the female sperm, while slower, can live up to 3 days. So if you have relations on the day a woman ovulates, it will most likely be a boy. But if you have relations before the woman ovulates, that female sperm is just hanging out waiting for the ovulation, because they live longer. Then, it will most likely be a girl. But in life, nothing is 100%. Before I had children (38 years ago 😳😵‍💫🥶😱💀), someone gave me a book. I think it was called “Now You Can Choose”, meaning depending on when relations are you can choose the sex of the baby. It was an interesting read. That’s at least what the book said. I have 3 children, and the book worked, at least for me 🤷‍♀️😁. Have a nice day.

Mil deleted her😡💔🙎🏽‍♀️🙎🏽 better watch aarti💯 Op's fault for not handling years ago especially letting her move in for easier life with kids🤯 your job meant more to you than keeping a functional household.💯‼️❗ Parents that utilize boarding schools deserve whatever they get 💯💔 no different than absentee parents but with income. 🤮🤢Fil has crush on OP 🤢🤮 men only show aggression with a woman they can't have 🤢🤮 average man doesn't care or go out of their way to be a "mean girl"

If this story is true then that mom failed her child. Should have took her to the hospital family be dammed. And the father seems like a beta push over.

I think that her mother should have stood up for herself instead of leaving the wedding and glad he finally stood up for her better late than never.

Story4: if you respectc your husband and care about him, you wouldn't put his family on blast like that! Especially if they are known!! You should just ask him first, get his input first!! Knowing that he stood by you every time

Consider around 30% of fathers raise kids that are not their own it makes total sense

Yeah that's bs. The actual statistics is approximately 1 in 3 so 33% of all paternity tests come back negative. But this dose not mean this is an indicator of the entire population. 1st paternity tests are often done when the father is unknown. The woman may have had multiple partners and is not trying to trick anyone into raising a non biological child. If 2 or more men are tested for the same child naturally 50% or more of the tests are going to come back negative. So this naturally makes the statistic higher. 2nd paternity tests are more common where there is cheating a pattern of cheating on the woman's side or signs of cheating. So again this is going to push the average of non paternity up than the average. 3rd people are more likely to double check a negative test than a positive so you have negative tests being counted twice. When generic testing is done for medical reasons not to prove paternity studies show between 1 and 3% of fathers are unknowingly raising children not biologically theirs. Big diffrence

I am a nearly 60yo transman, I have lived with and through the inculcated misogyny in women. I have told transwomen who ask about growing up as a girl and woman that the worst of abuse and bullying comes from other women and not as much from boys and men. The way that women treat other women is horrible and disgusting. It isn't just a Western culture thing; it is a full human thing created by the patriarchal way that most cultures have adopted either by choice or force.
